Sometimes CDJs "freeze up" and act strange. I know that my CDJs can act strange once in a while due to prolonged use and heat. They sometimes randomly stop playing or go wonky in various ways and become unstable after 5 hours of non-stop use. Also, power surges used to make my CDJs not eject the CD sometimes, but that got solved with a surge protector. All I'm saying is that electronics aren't perfect... and the pitch adjuster might've not been working when Reid tried using it (typical stability issue on a CDJ).

I live with Cassiel. He told me the whole sorry story behind this event. I like the part where there's no pitch control on the CD deck and when they made all the DJs sit in a cage in the afternoon sun for an hour with no water, leaving one girl to pass out and some dude to throw up in a confined area. Why the hell pats down DJs?

how about YOU stop picking on MY words and trying to shift focus from what is important to how i called Josh & Kristine, who treated me ABYSMALLY, and didnt pay me some names.

here a recap of the IMPORTANT FACTS:

1) i played my entire set (cd player failure aside)
2)autobotz was given an envelope with FULL PAY PRIOR to playing a single tune- i was REFUSED this courtesy.
3) I was screamed at BY THE PROMOTER, told I WAS NOT GETTING PAID, then KICKED OFF THE STAGE, AFTER playing said FULL set.
4) the promoter came back and screamed at me again, called ME unprofessional in front of hundreds of kids, and then ONCE AGAIN SAID I WAS NOT GOING TO GET PAID.
5) only after someone witnessed these 2 incedents did anyone "step in", SOMEONE I HAD JUST MET, who I in no way "encouraged" to fight, who DID NOT THROW A SINGLE PUNCH.
6) i was forcibly removed from the party by security at Josh and Kristine's request without my records, my ride, and
7) I DID NOT GET PAID IN FULL


none of these facts can be disputed by ANYONE and can in fact be backed up by the many hundreds of kids who were there.
and nothing else about this whole situation is even relevant.

1. You call this fact - I no longer think it is.
2. Why you played without a deposit still baffles me?! I have booked world class talent and never had a DJ get on without a deposit. And if they did, it was because they were a close personal friend. Paid shortly thereafter your set.
3. Why are you going about it this way? What are you hoping this accomplishes? As a promoter, I don't think this does anything to absolve you, in fact, it doesn't make you look that good.

^ don't see how you could dispute the fact she played her whole set - countless people have already stated she played over an hour of speed garage and only played dnb for like the last 10 minutes of her set or so.

I think Reid is just angry about the way she was treated (and rightfully so) and wants people to know about it.

...so how does that make it okay that Reid got screwed? How can you run an event with that many people attending and not pay the performers they're there to see?

u should give people the benefit of the doubt before you start acting all phsyco and #### and freaking out which doesnt do anything to help the sitaution at all, people that were at the set seen what went down. That is all.

ps. I have heard of a certain person not paying promoter sfor stages that they have so.............
