But the changes are going to happen anyways...what point is there in making it a big huge deal and controversy? not to mention all this talk about a free country and being able to believe what you want to believe. Its not like they said "I want to be gay"...they just want to experience marraige like the rest of the world does.

i suppose. to be quite honest i lean towards libertarianism which means people can do whatever they want and gov't has no right to interfere as long you're not hurting anyone. I just had a beef with the statement that society must change. some things don't require that all of society changes, but if they start saying that you're not allowed to discriminate against homos or something along those lines then i consider that an infringment on my freedom.
