Im basing this on the "RISK" assesment that insurance brokers talk about.
Before there were many insurance brokers ready to take the account for a rave party becasue drugs werent really outlined when the golden days were around, but after many unfortunate incidents with drugs (particurarly at raves) and sudden stereotyping of "raves" in general, the insurance brokers have sorta pulled a 180 and tend to stay away from it. If a company does take the account, they will charge 5 times as much (Maybe more), take this figure into account; from $500 to $3000. Now how will one pay for $2500 differance (Note: the quote changes with overall size of the party, the more people the more "potential" trouble). Not to add that Insurance premiums in general are gonna be raised...meaning itll be harder or people to do ANYTHING...let alone a rave. Its just not that easy, especially with what many "soccer mom's" have to say, its ruined it for the promoters aswell as the ravers. Other than that the procedure into putting on raves hasnt changed that much.
