I wear a bright orange one to work and only to work (it's for kids help phone, a cause my work supports bigtime). I appreciate supporting the cause, but it also gives me brownie points in showing initative at work (really, it does.)
Once I saw a transit cop wearing a pink one for breast cancer and I had to give him serious props for that. Why weren't there any posts about ugg boots on here when they were huge? I mean there's no argument those were ugly and they weren't supporting a good cause. |

He doesnt have to relax..these bands are ugly..it barely fits me bu ti wear it to support his sister. There not dumb at all..u pay money so they can do research and help people live. B-funk's sister might die from ms..how do u think he feels about people makin fun of something that will help her out and lots of other people. Image ur onlly sister being sick from ms and having ot see her go downhill and maybe even die. I dont think anyone should make fun of something to help out people. Even if its ugly. That is what they choose to do..so be it. whatever..u dont like it then dont buy it. It seems liek whenever there is something new..someone on here wants to be the first to say..ITS UGLY! Well i dont think anyone in this world will get over the fact of losing someone because there wasnt enough research or not enough money made to help them out! Fundraising is the best thing for them. They cant do it on their own! Everyone has the right to there own opion..but this is pushing it. |

Again, if you like them, then rock them, for whatever reason.
The baller band trend was well on its way before charities decided it was a good way to market their causes. To all those people who are hating on people who wear baller bands that don't support a specific charity, I really think you should step off your soap box. Should they stop wearing them just because charity ones have come along? I don't think they've commited any wrong by wearing Nike (and whoever else makes them) bands with funny phrases/words on them. They're just continuing to follow a trend, and its really not hurting anyone. So if you like baller bands, rock em. If you only like baller bands that support a cause, rock em, but don't think you're better than anyone. If you're getting bent outta shape that someone is wearing one that doesn't support a cause, you bought your bracelet for the "wrong" reasons too. |

ok i didnt read everythin here, so im sorry if im repeating anyone but i feel like i should say something. I do agree that these bracelets are for a good cause. I have a pink one, i got it when i shaved my head to raise money for breast cancer. I lost my mom to breast cancer 2 years a go, so i do anything i can to support the cause. But it is pretty fukin annyoing when u see some IDIOT, and i do mean IDIOT, come up to you wearing multi colored bands and ask you "OH MY GOD, where did you get the pink one?" To a person that hasnt been effected by somethin like that, the simple question doesnt seem too ignorant. But put urself in the shoes of someone that actually was effected first hand and you ll get my point. It a delicate topic to get on, on both sides. I mean from one side, i m not really fond of people wearing somethin that means somethin to me for kicks. But at the same time im happy that people are donating to actually get it. Anyways, my 2 cents, thought ide share.
ps. i dont weare my pink bracelet anymore, cuz the rubber is cracking and i dont wanna break it. So its sittin nicely right on top of my monitor. I look at it everyday. :) |

people who wear shoes are wannabe hipsters.
If you have enough time on your hands to care about what other people are wearing, then you should pick up a hobby. I don't have one but its nice to see that something so cheap has become a fad, fuck its better than that stupid puffy jacket trend, or that backstreet boys trend or that I don't want to be trendy trend. |

i just think it's not worth the energy of getting angry for, because if people want to wear them (for any reason), they will. if they don't, then they won't. there's nothing wrong with supporting a good cause, or even being passionate about something like that. but if you want to really get your point across, using insults isn't going to get you there. |

well im an emotional person and i got mad. i doubt they were thinking about anyone else when they typed what they typed and im allowed to be upset about that. if that makes me a worse person in someone's eyes then so be it.
no regrets i wear my MS braclet with pride and and anyone who doesn't like it can kiss my ass. |
