How this has anything to do with Pendulum, their live act, or the fact I find it cheesy is beyond me. I never even said that pendulum sucked or that I hate them - I just said their live act is cheesy.

As you said, they're obviously doing something right as they're very popular but then again, the point I was trying to make is that people like Britney Spears are selling out 10,000 person stadiums then she's obviously doing something right too. What you think of the people that like the music is besides the point. Same could be said about Tiesto or Oakie or any of the other numbers of cliche acts that junglists like to hate on.

It's the exact same argument you're trying to make with the big difference being you don't like Britney's music so somehow it's not valid for you.

Anyway I'm just showing you the incredibly obvious flaw in your attempt to defer the "haters" since you seem to like the "they're popular for a reason" argument.

And yes, I think I could rock a show that size and I certainly intend to one day - doesn't mean pendulum isn't still cheesy :)

No im just pointing out that no1 cares who you dont like. I was just listening to "Head Noddin" and i do like the tracks that you have on thurrrr, i'd like to here more about the artists you do like, because like someone already pointed out on this thread you seem to talk really negatively about a lot of things.

i think thats pretty cool. as much as pendelum is not the type of dnb i prefer, i would still go to see them play live. cuz i guess its something different.

obviously *you* care who I don't like otherwise you wouldn't be bringing that shit up :).

And Spears is a great example because very few self-respecting junglists will actually admit to liking her music but is another clear case of someone who is amazingly sucessful in the mainstream - much like pendulum is in the dnb world (pretty much a microism of the music industry) whether you classify it as "music" or not is entirely subjective... but I will say I like jungle *and* some Britney Spears (the instrumentals at least).

And yes I am negative but don't let it ruin your day. Name me anyone on this board that doesn't talk shit about something at some point. I just know what I like and I like to start shit with junglists cause it's easy to press their buttons :).
