considering the success agro had with previous parties of similar calibre, and also that numerous other promoters this summer are banking on drawing out a large crowd, i don't think that agronosta "fucked up" by assuming that they'd get a good crowd.
certainly not one as small as this. this is unprecented for an event of this quality. |

These guys organised an event that would have been in my opinion the party of the summer. It boasted a roster of international acts that for the most part were new to this city and our generation. The fact that we let down an organisation that has brought an awful lot of good to our scene is sad Vancouver, very sad. Dave and the rest of the cats from AGROculture, anything you guys need for your future events, please give me a shout. You of all people didn't deserve this. Keep the ball rolling cuz you've done an incredible job so far. |

To Dave and everyone who was part of this project, i'm so sorry to hear this.
When I first heard, I honestly thought it was a joke. After going to Hyper I was kicking myself for not buying a ticket to RN. I thought this was going to be a great party. Dave - you are one of the best, most respected promoters. When I had that meeting with you at the Trust office, I knew you didn't need my team - you have great support from everyone! Your ideas were great for this party. I don't know what really else to say, so I'll stop here. Best of luck with everything much support, Natasha |

the fact that this party didn't go off really upsets me, its sad that when people like agroculture, la cosa nostra diesel rave and their investors get together and invest tens of thousands of dollars into a party bringin in never before seen talent(real fuckin talent too holy shit just look at the fuckin flyer) and they can't even manage 300 presale tickets, there is something seriously wrong. most plaza parties get atleast 5 times that many presales, is that why no one decided to come out? because its not at plaza? what the fuck is wrong with people...i don't see very many promoters willing to put on shows of this calibre when things like this happen. and little boy your upset because you MIGHT not get your 40 bucks back think of the people who are out tens of thousands because of this party. grow the fuck up kid, its very appenrent that you just have a bone to pick with someone. |

I can't fucking believe this.
I am sooo upset. This was the one weekend all summer I could go out to a party. I bought my tickets incredibly early because I had faith that the people of Vancouver would reconize the talent being brought forth here. All AGROculture parties have been so incredible in the past. What happened to those who went to KISS and said they were behind that cause 110%? I saw signs EVERYWHERE in vancouver, I read about it in the newspaper, I got at least five flyers put on the windshield of my car. Everyone was talking about this party, I guess no one was willing to fork out the measly $35 to dance all night long, they were too busy buying their fucking jib. |

Because..... I'm one of the fucking investors!! quote: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Originally posted by hater Seattle is much better for promoters! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- And as for that. Dood! I joined Dave and AGROculture. I threw that fucking party HYPER and guess what!! I LOST MONEY!!! ALOT!!! The scene here in Seattle has been slowly going down for a little while now. Look at every single production company. Everyone is struggling to break even. So go back to the way you used to do things and just look. Don't post, cause you look like a fuckin idiot! |

1. Can I go back to Replay and get my money back?
2. I feel reeeeeeal sorry for all those people who have tickets and aren't on fnk and won't call the info line (I never have before a party) and drive out to chilliwack from vancouver (or where ever) to find that it's been cancelled. |

why would they NOT call the infoline? how the fuck are they supposed to know where it is? RETARD! ya chilliwack......just take a random exit and hope it's there you're a fuckin RETARD |

^^^because pretty much every outdoor massive is held at popkum. popkum is pretty much the only legal land left to throw a large licensed party. i know i wouldn't have called if i didn't have access to the net. the party looked promising enough to pull through. ravers know. i feel HORRIBLE for the ppl who will be driving out.. i called everyone i sold a ticket to already. just let the word spread.

Hey, do you happen to remember Kiss? It was at the plaza. It sold out. It was a lot of fun. It was definitely the biggest AGRO event to date, and I think everyone will agree that event was a success in every way possible. The reason that AGROculture started looking towards bigger and better things is that PEOPLE CAUGHT ON. People began realizing that they threw decent parties, and a lot of them began showing up at smaller events. With more people showing up to your parties and interested in what you do, it is rather silly to continue to throw small parties (especially because more people in smaller illegal venues=heaty.) I have been a friend of Dave's and attending his events for years. I am really glad to see he has come so far, and that there are so many people who come out to his events. You have to realize that when you are trying to insult Rick's hard work towards these events, you are also really insulting Dave. These two work very hard TOGETHER, they shared a vision, it was not a matter of having any person shove any idea into somebody else's face. I think it's really sad you're so upset because a fucking RAVE was cancelled. You'll spend your entire Friday night yipping on and on about how enraged you are. There are a lot of things far more horrible happening in the world, so why not focus all your anger on that. You are so very selfish if you're this angry about this, because you don't realize the people this affects the most are the people who have dedicated the last few months of their lives to planning this event to see it come to this. |
