It'll suck at first, but then the realizations start to dawn on you about what kind of person you were with and why the relationship didn't work out.

For myself, I think I was too keen on saving her from herself. I don't want to get into details, but rather than me pulling her up, she dragged me down. Since then, with love-blinders off, I've realized she's not the person I fell in love with...that person existed only in my mind. It's almost funny...part of what I admired about her so much was her loyalty and her good attitude, but in the end the attitude was a front, and as it turns out, she's not quite so loyal after all....
