Shouldn't be that way, though.

I would say that RIM has a fairly decent reputation for launching a quality product that comes out on top with minimal problems, even with first gen products. Most people who have used their products would tend to agree.

yeah the camera is straight shit, luckly I was not after a phone/camera combo. ive hardly taken it apart, worthy phone, nice and thin. little wide but beats the hell out of a thick brick. if only I could figure out how to schedule it for email/rss downloads for when I wakeup and roll over... alas I will someday soon.

tiny samsung + Palm TX

basic thin flip phone + wifi/bluetooth email grabbin web browsing video-playing touch screen device.


$120 for the phone, $200 for the palm. $320 split between two devices...although they're not as slick as the iphone or the ttywhatever (it's the new slick one from HTC right?)

I can renew my contract with rogers in the spring, so i'll probably sell the palm and my current phone, take whatever phone rogers gives me, sell it back, and put it all towards a nice all in one. Wifi touch screen is definitely the goal :)
