if the iphone was in canada right now, i'd probably grab it. but since im impatient with things like this, i'll probably grab the tytn 2, wait for the 2nd gen iphones to come out..... then switch.

imo the iPhone looks more intuitive at organizing your media but if you're a minimalist and don't fuck with all that then i'd say the tytn2. The full qwerty is way better then taping on a screen and the camera is better so if you're just a messenger and candid photographer than it would probably make a better choice then the iphone.

It hasn't been buggy, nothing has gone wrong *knock on wood*
My ONLY complaint is that my alarm ringer is the same volume as my phone ringer. So, I can't turn down the phone low enough that it won't wake me up because the alarm won't wake me up either. Otherwise, totally happy with it :)

Ahh I'm pretty sure that's not true. The contract that Apple has with Rogers/Fido doesn't start until June 2008. If December was in the picture I would have waited the extra 8 weeks and bought it in Canada rather than getting the US version unlocked.

Wii - www.wiihaveaproblem.com <- not the worst design flaw, but enough that they re-did the straps.

Firefox - the open source model doesn't quite apply as much to the "lets rush it out in order to meet quarterly profits" scenario that most of these buggy launches are directly a result of.

HD-DVD - launch was delayed due to issues. Better than forcing it on the market with the bugs but it was still hit with issues.

Not saying some launches aren't better than others, but internal QA testing will only get you so far... once a product is in the hands of millions, the true usability issues come out and I can't think of a single product that was flawless at launch.
