I often wonder what possesses people to say some things so loudly.

Today on the way home from work, packed rush hour train:

Teenaged girl: "It totally hurts when I have sex with him. That means I'm pregnant. Or maybe we're just doing it too rough."

Awesome. "Time Out" magazine in London does something similar where they have an "Overheard on the Tube" section. Some of the stuff is almost too good to be believed.

We should definitely keep this thread going with overheard gems. I'll contribute as soon as I'm back on transit.

The other day at Nananimo station just as the doors were closing someone on the platform chucked through the doors a turquoise dildo and it hit this guy right in the shoulder!!! What the hell is this world coming too hah?!? It was just rolling around on the ground and I think for the first little while everyone on the train was just starring at it thinking like wft just happened?!?
