for the record i loved loved loved oryx & crake. i've read it three times in the last three weeks, LOVED it.
i also have recently read hey nostradamus by douglas coupland, and it was also very good. in the first pages there's a passage about feeling a sense of wonder about the world, that's lost after childhood, that i found incredibly poignant. i'm now rereading microserfs by coupland, and am trying to finish midnight's children (rushdie) and STILL the master and margarita. |
