I am currently reading an educational book:
How To Be a DJ - DJ Chuck Fresh I will seriously RECOMMEND this book to ANYONE who wants to start DJing - whether a complete newbie or an advanced DJ. I am reading it for the advanced stuff, but I read some of the beginners chapters and oh boy, I learned a lot that I missed out while I was starting out. It's very informative, with lots of tips and tricks, pictures, and suggestions on how to succeed in every type of DJing situation. Last edited by FireWire; Mar 13, 05 at 11:47 PM. |

"stress, the brain, and depression"--can't remember the name of the author, but i took it out from woodward library at ubc.
the book deals with stress, the hormones produced when one is stressed, and how it can predispose ppl to depression. it also deals with how early childhood trauma can lead ppl to be in permanent states of stress, reduce their coping mechanisms, and just be an overall catalyst for depression, anxiety and aggression. |
