NICE!

Loved that series so much.

Sagramor and Merlin are by far my favourite characters. A close third goes to Gwenyvere (but mainly only reasons in Excaliber... just wait).

Enjoy it. Be sure to report back what you think of the series.

Just starting that one up myself. Got it from my sister for Christmas. Basically taking a break from Orson Scott Card's Ender series (finished Shadow of the Hegemon last week) while I left Shadow Puppets at Jenn's when I last visited.

After that on my list is either Count Zero by William Gibson or another Heinlein novel (either The Puppet Master(s?) or Have Space Suit, Will Travel).

Oh, and Hero of 1000 Faces by Joseph Campbell's on there. I also have to finish up the original Dune series at some point soon.

I got a whole pile of books for Christmas though and I need to sort out when I'm gonna fit those ones in. Philip K. Dick's Cosmic Puppets (what's with me and puppets?), Kurt Vonnegut's Jailbird, Chuck Palahniuk's Lullaby, a Marion Zimmer Bradley, Stephen King's On Writing, and a good number of others.

As well I've got Diamond Age by Neal Stephenson, Asimov's Foundations Trilogy, and a good number of other Sci Fi/Fantasy books still on my shelf.

i've read it before. cornwell always does a good job with nutty characters like merlin, in his american civil war series he creates another crazy charcter who's called bird...ohhh man he cracks me up.

edit- i also like sansum.

so i just finished winter king...go to my bookshelf, only to find that enemy of god is gone! dammit.

one thing that i like about these books is the fact that that's probably what it was like in the mid sixth century.

one thing that i love about berny is his historical notes at the end of each book...it's cool to think that derfel lived as arthurs soldier and later became a monk. now he's been immortalised.

Im really interested in the life of pi.

I just read Al Frankins "Lies and the Lying Liars who tell them"

Great read if you're into conservative bush bashing.

I have picked up Richard Swifts "No Nonsense guide to Democracy" and "The complete idiots guide to politics in Oil" (the last one could be worded differently b/c I left it in my truck)
