Things you miss from your early raving days

I miss being happy

and wearing whatever I wanted cuz people liked me just for me
and being sooo excited for weeks before because I would see my raver friends that I hadnt been in contact with since the last party
and trying to drag all of my non raver friends out to parties
and check points being sooo elusive

I miss alot of people that used to party but now barely do...
I miss the candy kids...I miss the people that didnt just go for a place to do drugs, i miss the colourful people, i miss the vibe, how almost every person you walked past would smile at you and random people would come up and ask you wut ur name is. and alot of wut thorn and atlantis77 said.

To be perfectly honest, the only thing doom really misses is a couple venues that aren't around and some people he doesn't really see anymore... other than that it's been getting better for doom each year.

I miss the chill rooms; the real chill rooms with tunes by Dr. Patterson, Mixmaster Morris, and Pete Namlook pulsing from the speakers.

i miss plaza a lot.. i miss being plurry and happy all the time and being a proud raver who likes pink a lot. i miss the baggy yet cute clothes..the modrobes and the laramy gear. ooohh i miss gettin mad butterflies before going to a party..and how each party was a full out adventure. and i miss not being shy and being able to smile and talk to every single person that i see. oohz and also miss how ppl rave danced....oh i miss seeing hat tricks.

^^ 6 years ago you wouldve been 9... if i ever saw a 9 year old at a rave.... even now.. i would be like WTF... not the place for a little kid!~!!!!

the only exception is shambhala... familys go and bring their kids and i think its wikked!!!

ummm... there are alot of people now my age that have just simply grown out of partyin.some have also become "jaded".....
i have no beef against people ur age getting into the party scene personally.. but there are alot of other people that seem to.. forgetting that they were once your age also... my only beef i have is when people start partying.. thinking theyre "ravers" when theyre actually little barstars in training...ie:little 15 year old girls wearing practically nothing.. or little 15 year old thug wannabes tryin to start shit ....but these people only last a bout a year or 2 anyways....

i think its great that there are still people becoming interested in the scene... theres not as much as there used to be for sure... and all the people who have problems with it whether theyre jaded or just bitter or whatever... are simply discouraging it... u wanna keep the scene alive? then just leave these kids be... theyre not hurting anyone. ;) and just keep doing what your doin!
i may not go off as hard as i used to.. and i may not dress as a candy kid anymore.. but im still deffinalty into the scene alot... and i dont plan to stop anytime soon! :)
