Things you miss from your early raving days

What are some little things that you used to see when you first started going to parties that used to bring a smile to your face that you don't really see much anymore...

For me, I miss seeing the people with wings on...I always thought it brought a happy, dreamlike aspect to the parties...

seeing actual ravers....

not barstars... not little 15 year old girls dressed like skanks... not gangsta wannabes... actual ravers that were there to party.....

too bad u didnt start partyin when i did 6 years ago.... there were real actual ravers... there's hardly any left now.... or they just dont go to the shit partys we have..

Raves used to be a happy peaceful place to go,now raves and the people at them make me sick. I don't know if that has anything to do with what has changed though. I think its more the fact that I grew out of the naive,doing E every weekend phase. Those times being too fucked to walk and wearing ugly clothes were fun but I'm glad I've moved on.

I miss having raves all the time when the scene was huge and all the companies were around. Exert, E.t. Bros, Alien Luv Chyld, Nice etc... It made for choices everyweek and not only 1 choice but multiple choices.

I miss the old vibe where most of the people were there to party and dance. Now theres alot more barstars (sadly im 1 now) and young kids etc..

I miss all the venues that were once used. Plaza, riverside, palace etc...

There are alot of things I could list, but after going to Happy Together 3 in SanFran, I realized that its not missing, I'm just in the wrong city. . .

The happy vibe as a whole you would get from everyone. Not as much drugs goign around. yes there was E but there is a heck of alot more going around, and cheapers too li ke jib, g, and etc...

the t-shirt dress shirts with the colorful tie, and hat. how there were about three different parties on a single saturday night, and a good party every week..

I miss the times when you would just end up talking to some random raver, exchange life stories and you left wanting to actually be friends. Not like now where you just don't even want to be around half the kids that are there.

And yes i miss dreading the morning because you're having so much fun that you don't want it to end. Seems like I can't wait to leave parties now.

oh how i miss sweet.I miss the outfits, i miss the decoration. It seems that a lot more effort and love went into the decoration back then, making ur experience a lot more enjoyable. The oufits . . . everyone had a signiture article . . . your could recognize them from. The girls looked 10 x hotter wearing 3 times more clothing!! Man . . . girls were so sexy dancing, i dunno i think there were better dancers, a lot more!! No one ever steped up to you and asked you if you can glide or show off. You could always go to a party ALONE, and end up meeting people you actually wanna hang out with outside the party. Like someone mentioned earlier, it seems like there are too many people there just for the sake of getting high, the prices of E dont help either!!
