Yeah those are crazy hot, but not for a girlie girl like me. That's just too much car. LOL. And it doesn't come in auto, which would defeat the whole purpose of that car. @ vw.com I saw the new body styling for the new Jetta (next year's?)... I'm not sure if I like it... But my car makes me very hot! Boundary Bay airport hey? Did you ever know a Jeff Kemp?

VW are cool.....yeah they don't have the track better track record that hondas have for reliability. But they're WAY better rides IMO. They just have more refined interiors and there engines have tons of low end power ( VR6 ). Hondas generally like to be reved really high to get all the juice squeezed out.

I like just taken it easy and still have the power that i need.

I thought that VWs that were well taken care of, especially deisels, last forever... Just like Hondas. I Have heard of people getting 400, 000 km on a deisel Jetta.

1979 5.0L Mustang... needs some minor work but it's still a ripper. I made it from Newton to Mission in 34 minutes in it once.

Preludes > Civics

Acuras would be a little much for the price range you are looking at. as far as Honda's are for fixing up (engine or body) any model you choose will have lots and lots of upgrades for them cause Honda is one of the manufactures. Nissans are awsome, anything from them are good and quite easy to upgrade and boy o boy can you make em purdy. this is all i can say right now cause class just ended

Yeah some do ...i'm just talking about the averages.
I also know people who have brand new hondas and have had nothing but problems with them.

^ Ahhh... Fair enough. I was just thinking what I'd heard was wrong. But I guess depends on who's babying the car and who's running it way too hard.

Exactly... My Mustang would average 200 and some km per tank if I was being good... if I drove the way I enjoyed it I can knock it down to 175km or a little less per tank. :kam:

^ My '89 mustang could drive from chilliwack to richmond and back to chilliwack once more (with lots of driving around both towns) on one tank sometimes... Too bad I killed it.

i'm going to be babying my car untill the day I get a new one.

P.S. Honda = Boring. Why do you think I just got rid of mine!

Prelude=UGLY.

The TSX are very nice. But again. Too high of a price range for him. If you can afford...Go for Jetta. Heh. I almost did. Glad I didnt tho. *swoon*

^ If you want honda, go honda. You should buy the car YOU want. That's what Ash and I did. Sure, we like each other' cars, but we went with the one that WE liked best. PS I looked up a 95 240sx. The red looked pretty hot. It was all done up and shot in a Chinatown in the US (I think).
