i am going to get a standard
now i need to know what car!!?
So what should i get A Prelude? OR A Civic ???

Get an RSX or a new Celica if you can afford it, and you want a good import.

I'm looking into purchasing an '00 or '01 Celica within the next few weeks. They drive like a dreaaaaaaaaam :)

but to answer your question get the 'lude over the civic, and make sure it's vtec with a stick :)

VTEC? Bah... stick with a single profile camshaft engine and swap it out. Less mess and complication and more power all-round. None of the hassle of "having your VTEC break": biggest import excuse for losing in a race.

TSX is really nice. I looked at them before I settled on my Jetta. But super exspensive... Like outta his price range new for new since they start @ 40K

I'm not sure what they go for but the 1999-ish Preludes are [retty solid cars.
I know lots of people who own ( or owned them ) and they never had any problems with them. Also the engine is pretty solid ( 200hp i think ).

So if its a toss up between the Prelude and civic then i'd go for the Prelude.

if ur just lookin for a civic r prelude...go wit the prelude. civics are overated. sure there are lots of aftermarket parts but......the $$ adds up.

Thanks, yeah the TSX is pretty, but I am SOOO happy with my Jetta and think I chose the better car :)

Mine's silver :) My 2005 was 32K... But you can get really nice ones that are a year or two old for 19K I believe... Cowell VW @ Richmond Auto Mall is having a demo and used VW clearance event right now... And you can beef up jettas... Mmm they had a realy hot Jetta in gunmetal gray, lowered, beefed engine (please don't ask me for details, it will only make me look stupid)... It came that way stock, limited edition. I looked at it, but it was stick and gas... I wanted auto diesel.
