not feelin' the equality aspect of your argument, or how capitalism and 'oppression' are synomymous, but i agree that the military lobbying for anything is bad news. in fact, i'm against all forms of lobby, but the most pernicious being the pharmaceuticals. then again, i'm against taxes.:)

Agreed. gov't blows, but it seems that you're suggesting instead a super overarching socialistic one? Big gov't is an anathema to freedom. always. Dangerous master, powerful servant. I think someone important said something like that.

well dieing is inevitable, struggle and political action my only option.

wtf!? you made a point! without shitting on me too!? I think the only duty that the government as we know it should be responsible for is the distribution of goods. But that is so far away, that i dont even know what it looks like?

as for quotes and such, a few that i am studying and dissecting include:

Quote:
We must carry the war into every corner the enemy happens to carry it: to his home, to his centers of entertainment; a total war. It is necessary to prevent him from having a moment of peace, a quiet moment outside his barracks or even inside; we must attack him wherever he may be, make him feel like a cornered beast wherever he may move

am not interested in dry economic socialism. We are fighting against misery, but we are also fighting against alienation. One of the fundamental objectives of Marxism is to remove interest, the factor of individual interest, and gain, from people's psychological motivations. Marx was preoccupied both with economic factors and with their repercussions on the spirit. If communism isn't interested in this too, it may be a method of distributing goods, but it will never be a revolutionary way of life.

There is no other definition of socialism valid for us than that of the abolition of the exploitation of man by man.

i also appreciated malcom x's talk about the "house n****, and the farm n****. It is prevalent in this day in age, when trying to understand peoples allegiences.

There is much of ghandi that i respect and reflect on, but i am still to egotistical, hateful, and narrowminded to walk his road just yet.

how do i say this... planned economies sort of have a habit of going the way of the Soviet Union? :012:

besides, if you want to stamp out 'capitalist corruption' as you say, imagine how bad things will get if completely enable them by nationalizing everything and giving them lobbying powers? *cough*trifecta of FDA, big pharma, and now forced psychological testing*cough*

as for the Marxism stuff, that's another thread for tomorrow.

nationalizing everything
this comes up when people give the example that we are under the "US yoke" I dont think any sort of nationalism needs to be prescribed to. I think one the hardest things to accomplish is to try to get people to understand the "Canada" is english for "fuck off this our land now!"

when i mean distribution i mean just that, helping things get from point a to point b. Think UPS with better suits.

Where did the FDA and pharmacutical come from? Im a little ignorant of current issues outside of " pharmacuteical companies" are the devils work!

and i aint talking straight marxism, and neither was che or malcom or fidel or ...... It gets updated, and it mutates, and admittedlly im not as well versed on classic marxism, so really in terms of ideology and tanginble goal setting, im still a student.

i think the failure of the USSR was that "communism" in its form wasnt intended to be a permanent state. It was a transitionary model at best?

Lets talk about CUBA!

From the little i know of Chinese History, the government is as imperialistic as they come?

But if you got an opinion do share.

Fable you really are a prick I agree with some of the shit you say but I don't agree with the way you try to get it out to people you are as overbearing as any of the corporate hawks. Post the info and let people decide for their own don't post it and when some one disagrees call them racist, stupid, or otherwise worthless. This is why I do not support radicals like you, you will never be able to come to a happy medium with people it is just insults now. I mean fuck you are pulling up the same shit you have pulled up for every thread you post don't ya think maybe it is time to give it a fucking rest cut your losses we obviously don't agree with you on a lot of stuff and you are making your selfe look like a totall prick in the process.

I love the way you classify everyone as either with you or against you. I see there isn't any middleground for you.

Don't you think it would be great if we got rid of all that big business? You know, the ones that donate millions of dollars a year to charities? Especially the Canucks, I think we should sell them off and get rid of that shitty Ronald McDonald House they have. Despite what you may think some of those big companies are good corporate citizens.

You hit the nail on the head, there is absolutely no middle ground with him. Obviously we all know these issues exist and need to be dealt with. He just seems to think that because we support new developments that we are totally against helping people in need which is flawed.
