Fable did you not read the beginning of my post? doing this on the first is like comming to a kids birthday and calling him a chump or a piece of shit. It just isn't good mojo. Never will you see me dancing around trying to upp my ideals or thoughts against someone or somthing on theire day of days. It is obvious this event was scheduled on this day for the maximum shock value it would / anger it would instill in people. I know of the atrocities our government caused to the natives back in the day I am fully fucking aware I have studied this stuff but I guess my education is shit cause it is a "imperialistic public school system education" right not your superior selfe / interweb taught education. Call me whatever you want but it is still a simple fact you are rallying against the country you live in on it's birthday the day that even you and your friends should maybe even stop and think hey maybe I do have a lot to be thankfull for from Canada.

I find myslef leafletting, and doing the "less romantic" work often, while a 14 year old highschool girl is making a statment in front of 200 people. The way it should be - young people taking the lead. Its a small number of heads that are hostile to me in this thread. With usually the same comments, and never singularely. Its a rabid pack mentality that brings nothing to the discussion. In the past I bit. Today I move on. I dont laugh, because most of the times I admit your insults get under my skin, but I move on nonetheless. It will be the sensitive, empathetic and critical that lead any movement, and I see a signifanct absence of any of this in your writing. I have one kid, speaking more on his family than himself, and I have another kid talking about smashing faces, over the computer half way across the country? Why? What does this achieve? Is this in fact the real ego boost? I dont know, and I dont care. I hope you guys have an enjoyable canada day, and I am glad you live lives that are fulfilling and non oppressive and reletively safe. Mine is not that life, and the people I work with live in far more critical situation than I. And thus I do what I do, and continue to do so. It is sad that we cant get into more productive dialogue. But I dont hold any ill will. You lot are far from enemies. I only see expressive, confused young persons. I think if your energies and idea where flipped on their head, you would find yourself facing some greater truths. I bet you could all be really great social justice organizers, but if this isnt your cup of tea, then I have to repsect you living the lives you choose. pc.ez Shak

If graffiti is your thing, then come by any of the events for our hiphop festival in july. There will be tons of heads, some graffiti artists, mc, breakers etc etc, of all races and classes. One of the events will be at the amblside skate area, and the ambleside youth center will be building us a wall. Or come to any of the other six events. Ill post up info soon enough.
