lol.. true. although comments like that are usually coming from other girls, but in this case guys as well... She's not a bad person in any way. you're right, there's no reason to start ranting and raving just because she's good looking and has money.

Back to the SHOW, which is what this thread is about. I am kinda excited to watch this season. But it will probably turn out like the last two seasons where I missed most of the episodes and just waited until my sister bought them on dvd.

Paris and Nicole might not be the smartest cookies, but I find their antics to be entertaining and harmless. Like gusto said, if I'm actually kicking back to watch tv, I like mindless tellie viewing, that makes me laugh. Those girls mos def make me laugh. I love Nicole. Sometimes I think Nicole should have her own show...

Edit: Sam, we hafta be done shopping in time for Simple Life premier on Wed, okay?

She is famous for three reasons which you cannot deny:
1- She made a porn film. This is probably what brought her the most fame initially. I didn't even know who she was before this, as did most people
2- She was born into a very rich family, and spends the money extravagently
3- She stared in a show, that highlighted the fact that she is rich and ignorant, wasn't that the whole selling point of the show? "rich brat has to do hard work in a small town."

The fact she is a model has very little to do with her fame, before this thread, I didn't know she was a model to be honnest. Her modeling jobs have been eclipsed by the other three points. And chances are her modeling began because of connections from her family rather then any skill/work on her part.

You cannot denny that the three reasons I stated are the reason she's most famous. Go ask 10 random people on the street who paris hilton is and you'll get one of my points, not the fact that she models. I'm sure she's very nice when you get to know her, but don't bullshit yourself.
