Avenue numbers get larger going North and smaller South. 0 ave = US Border
Street numbers get larger going east until you hit langley and shit gets really messed up.

say you're at 72 and scott.
and you want to get to 104 and 132.
st-st=
+
ave-ave=
divide that by 5 i think.

so
132-120=12
+
104-72=32
=44
divide 44 by 5 and you get about 8 km.

sound right?

ok, i failed math 10 and took accounting 11 as my math credit because i suck THAT MUCH at math.
and even i can figure that out.
72 and scott is approx 6-8 km from 104 and 132.
