IM NOT PICKY, I JUST WANT A NICE LIGHT CRUISER TO TOOL AROUND TOWN IN, LOOKING FOR ADVICE BEFORE I GO BACK TO RIDE ON. COULD DO A USED, NOT REALLY BIG ON THE WHOLE SWAPPING OUT PARTS OR HAVING TO DO MUCH MORE THAN PUMP UP THE TIRES. ALSO MY BITCH IS LOOKING FOR A BMX TOO. |

Marketplace - BMX Bike | Facebook 24" Haro BMX Freestyle Half Price 230 bmx bike! obo Haro Revo Freestyle Bmx 2003 i def miss my bmx now that she's stolen but honestly hadn't gotten up on her since buying my road bike. if you are into long rides it makes no sense to bmx. get something that's faster and practical to go across town on. it's more FUN to go FAST and you don't look like as much like a monkey. if you are just going to seawall, then ok fine... bmx or cruise your heart out. |

thanks for the links, you're awesome i have that road bike frame still and im pretty set on building it out into a complete single speed/fixed bike now to try that out, but a bmx is my comfort level and i'd at least like a bike to fall back on. also, bmx's are crazy exercise and i want to spend this summer keeping my cardio up. i guess the HELP ME TURN MY BOX OF PARTS INTO A ROAD BIKE thread is about a month off. |

i hear you, bro.
it was quite an adjustment for me at first and bmx's are tons of fun. anyway, two bikes > one. if michelle is not as die-hard as you, or inclined to get two bikes, she should come over to my place and hop on miyuki (my fixed gear) to test her out. or i can switch the pedals back to charlotte (my 10spd) so she can ride her too. my guess is that she will prefer a road bike over bmx. it will also keep your cardio up as she'll be riding circles around you. :P lastly, i'll have a girl friend to learn fixie tricks with! GUSTO NO CRUISER! |

michelle does need a bike this summer, but i dont know how she would do with no/limited breaks. BUT WHO KNOWS.
gusto smaller bmx's are great but seriously i dont wanna be a 24/7 GARGOYLE POSE (my wheels spin enough on a 24), unless there is a better reason to get one than SICK PEGS BRAH |
