i think this is a total success because i totally want one of those quatchi dolls right now and thats the entire point of having an olympic mascot.

plus the mix that the animation, historical folklore/background and values that are highlighted with the presentation of these moscots clearly represent the culture mishmash that defines Vancouver.

it probably looked wack as hell back in the day but i still think it was dope.

i remember talking to the little robot ernie they had at expo, only i thought it was real.

Are your kidding, Ernie was the BEST! One of my favorite childhood pics is of me and Ernie. The thing is you have like the most professional ppl working on these mascots and they come up with some bazzar things. But Ernie is an excellent example of a character that was cool and cuddly.
