^yeah, i finished that book a few weeks ago.

that story is fucked. also the raft story and the jaunt and the mist...i can't remember my other favourites. i didn't like all of them though.

The Ballad of the Bouncing Bullet was my fav by far. The Jaunt gave me fucked up dreams for a couple nights - It was such a creepy ending.

wow, crime and punishment was sorta depressing, but had a quasi happy ending. hm. good book.

now reading:

McSweeney's Literary Quaterly #18.

it's like a friggin' book. 250 pages.

Jake: some books I just fly through while others take me a while. Any book by neal stephenson takes me a week easily. The first dark tower book took me 4 hours. I'm just a quick reader maybe.

^yeah, i'm a slow reader i think. unless it's something easy like the da vinci code or whatever. i wish i was a bit faster because i have so many goddamn books to read.
