How many people get hit from behind in hockey? A shit load... Offender usually gets a penalty. If Bert had checked him hardcore from behind and the same injury occured would we all be argueing like this? Maybe Moore had been mouthing off.. There was alot of that last night... Maybe he told Bert he'd fucked his mother. Maybe Moore did have it comming.

Ok, so pretty much I'm a bad guy because I dont give a shit that someone has a broken neck. Thats essentially what it comes down to. Do you care about everyone who suffers? No. I dont care about Moore, thats essentially what it boils down to. Does that make me a bad person? No. Moore is no one special. Just another human being in this big world of hurt, violence, and misery. Do you donate your money to starving african kids? No? Do you change the channel when you see those 1/2 hour long commercials begging you to donate money to them so they can buy a loaf of bread... prolly yes. Why? Cuz you dont care. Im sure all he wanted to was punch Moore in the face and thats it. But as is the case shit got more fucked up than bert wanted and look now. Moore has a broken neck, a concussion and facial lacerations.

All i know is Bertuzzi is suspended indefinately and they will have a hearing on Wednesday to decide his suspension. They are also looking into charging Bertuzzi with assualt. Vancouver police is doing the investigation. Watch Sportsnet and you'll see what im talking about.

Hopefully Burke makes some kind of move before noon seeing how colorado just picked up Tommy Salo, all the other contenders in our conference have made moves. Big Bert in my mind won't be back anytime soon.

I know i said that was my last post, but gotta comment. According to my law textbook, he can't be charged with assault. Only battery. Legally, in assault, the victim has to be expecting the blow. Moore had no idea in hell that that was commin. Battery=maybe. Assault no.

I think bertuzzi feels bad enough and will have alot of time to think about what he did. I also think the refs lost control of the game and they were trying to make an example of bert since he publicly criticized them,so then they kept making calls aginst him which made him snap and moore ended up being the victim.There was nothing premeditated about this and i think the police should mind their own business instead of getting involved.
The refs should stop being such assholes to bertuzzi and this would of never happened.The players have a tough enough time out there with all the battles goin on and the last thing they need is some arrogant official to add to the frustration.

he gets paid a lot of money
he should be able to control himself
especially in the most IMPORTANT game of the year
