Ill only take his if he can top Wellbelove. Im also very eager to do what ever I can to hold my name as the youngest and last that I know of.
Although it's tradition and a great way to track your family history, Im not owned or sacrificing a huge part of me. I would most likely like to join both last names and leave it up to my children to deside what name they would keep when their adults. Last edited by Ree Fresh; Jan 29, 07 at 01:04 AM. |

I've got quite an uncommon last name, and would like to keep it... however, my partner seems quite adamant in keeping hers (in the top 50 of most common names) aaaand it's already hyphenated into two.. so can you imagine three? forgettaboutit...
To answer the question straight though, I think she should take his name... but honestly in today's day and age, it will be a mutual choice. |

I think a women should do what she wants. I dont think its a good idea to take a mans lastname if you feel you have to. Do whats makes you happy, or go with the Hyphen.
I took Nathans lastname, as I liked it, and it didnt sound terrible, and I wanted to do it. |
