hey kids... well i had ta get some replys in there before i gave my lowdown on the show, but basically here it is.
Got to the show, we were right next to it ( in tha canadian tire ) and didn't even kno and started walking the OTHER direction... good thing we caught ourselves quick, thanks to tha dude on the infoline fer dealing with us like 3-4 times...lol.. i heart u big, u were very nice and helpful! :) damn vancouver, so easy to get lost in... and boy, we did... lol... only fer a little while tho, and once we got there, it was tight, right away, chandelle (girl, big heart!) was waiting fer me at the door, and then all these kids were comin up to me, ashes ashes! lol, i loved it and had such fun runnin around and meetin peoples! the lights were pretty cool, sounded alright in there, floor was nice and smooth fer slidin and glidin... had fun dancin to the canuck beats, they are MOS DEF diff stylz but still cool. ya'll got alotta heavier dirtier shit up there, which is tight. Danced fer ALL of my man's set, which was a bit difficult at the time, hehe, but had an awesome time doin it... had ta take a seat after that set *whew* and curled up on tha leather couch and listened ta some hardcore... yay :) it was nice and comfy~! i had a GREAT TIME meeting all of you that i did, its kinda hard to put all the names with FnK names with faces, but im doin my best. chandelle: you KNOW i love YOU! lol... it was so fun to get to party with you at LAST! we got pretty fkd and that was fun, wished we coulda kicked it longer, but i knew AJ was tired and wanted to get home. didn't have any problems gettin back over the border, went smooth as silk. lol. it was tight... glad to meet ur friend bonnie too, she was funny. were gonna have a rockin time fer our birthdays! i'll send u some flyers as soon as i finish designin them! :) margie: thanks fer takin pics, caint wait ta see more of em... it was nice to meet u, ura sweeti... and i hope i get to party with u again on halloween! squila: nice ta finally meet you...thanks fer postin tha pic! trance bros: you guyz rock my socks.. lol... i think ur both fresh, and i'd love to see you all again at dooms!! we'll rock it out again, chiba might be playin tha afterparty so we'll see... i kno u thought his set was "odd" but u gotta remember, the stylz up there are alot diff than down here, i know my man's got the hott shit and i dig on it... we'll see what u think next time, minus the skipping (from ppl dancin too close ta tha decks) and every set is diff too, i love tha old skool shit myself.. man's got some sick tracks u've yet to hear~ much love tho, stoked ta see ya! bongman: you are awesome, haha.. and comical, it was funny/nice to meet you, im glad we got ta blaze up that phattie together (it was very nice by the way!) mmmMMMmmm.... lol. hope to see you at dooms! dsl-dude: only got to meet you for a sec.. hope to actually get some party time in with you in the future! brief but sweet. we'll meet again. I hope everyone liked my progressive set with Mr Sinister. It was really outta the bag on that one. we were talking for about 10 min before our set and decided to put a slower more chill set before Dn8r and Remmide showed us the pumping hard set. I had an awsome time playing and hope you all had a good time as well.

1st off i wanna thanks josh and matt you guys did good for all the drama that was going on....Being someone who has thrown a few parties i know shit can get screwed up - so good job fo rbeing resourceful in fnding alt venue and such. Now the only probs i had were with timeslots and equipment - b4 the night started i had been told 3 different time s to spin which made things a little confusing - and also not having needles fo rthe 1st 45mins really screwed up the time slots even more. Other then that i had a great time spinning with Cyrus(neal) Man we should tag more often!!! my highlight was gettin a chance to speak with sunny (hope all worked out for your set man, sorry i played that track you wanted to play) anyways hopefully we'll get a chance to throw down or something sometime soon, itd be an honour to tag with ya sunny. Overall good night, especially at the korean. Good luck with all your future shows.

This was definitley one confusing night! I was supposed to go to u-neek for my birthday
Here's what we were promised: A FULLY-LEGAL party at a pretty good/clean venue and a pretty good line-up. Here's what we got: We arrived at the maritime on schedule only to find one really high crackheaded guy telling us we couldn't drive our own car to the now ILLEGAL venue, but that we had to get in a sketchy van with some equally high driver who had no idea where the f-ing venue was! So we got in the van drove around for about half an hour before returning to the maritime to cuss out the idiot who gave us bad directions! We then proceeded to say f-you and got in our own car and took a girl with us who happened to know where the party was happening. We finaly get there and realize that the venue is a hole in the wall and is really dirty, with sketchy bathrooms and that we paid $45 to come to this party. The only thing that was good about this party was the music and that i got to see my friends. I will never go to another party thrown by this production company ever again! |

(cut short but still fuckin sweet) did yeah manage to katch the skytrain man? hahaha 8am... sooooo gay. at least we were able to crash with a whole bunch of swing dancers who had an all night party a block away hahaha we all just passed out at starbucks next to the skytrain. i got home 2pm today (monday)... i have my wallet... have my keys... weekend was a success :P |
