need direction
I just moved in to town not to long ago. Ive been in the rave seen in Toronto since the early 90s. I have been really craving some Minimal Techno and I don't know where go. Even some breaks would be nice. would I find any of that here?

Hidingseek: you will definitely find some techno/minimal at SiGNAL but not much breaks... our format is like this:
early part of the night: italo, classic electro, disco punk, deep house middle of the night: electrorock/electrohouse/dancerock late/end of the night: minimal/technno/techhouse So yeah, come check it out this weekend :-) and if you stop by, come say hey (I am the taller guy usually sporting a baseball cap and some sort of SiGNAL shirt). -farshad

wow! What a KILLER night last Saturday! So many people dancing to the better end, and hi-fiving me :-) that was def. a night to remember. I demand a repeat :-)
this Saturday, 2008 02 23, we have residents Ollie Ple + Andy Clockwork on deck duty. For those who have not been to Lotus in a while, there is a brand new DJ booth in a new spot, leaving more room to dance with the new extended dancefloor layout. The Lotus is undergoing renovations at the moment, and there are going to be lots of excellent changes. So come down and check out the work in progress and rock out with us! This Saturday (2008 03 01), myself (DJ Abasi) and Woodhead are playing. Woodhead will be playing from 10-12:45, with me playing from 12:45-3:15am. Last time we played together a couple of weeks ago, we tore the roof off SiGNAL, so we plan to do the same again this week. And rumour has it that additional sound is being rented to beef things up, so... Who is going to join me for some partying? Let's see some hands :-) I am buying the first round of shots! -f.
