We are proud to announce that on Saturday November 3rd, Vancouver's leading electronic music radio show, Art Of Beatz, will be joining forces with Signal Saturdays at the Lotus Sound Lounge, to raise money for CFRO, Vancouver's Community co-op Radio. Art Of Beatz' resident host/DJ/producers Kuma, Lady Eve and Motomasa will join Signal residents Abasi and Woodhead for an evening of some house, techno and other things that go bump on the dance floor. Being non-commercial, co-operatively-owned and operated as well as listener supported means that CFRO doesn't do commercial advertising in any way, shape or form. This means that an entire year's budget for the station is less than what Peter Mansbridge pulls in hosting the National for the CBC. As Vancouver's only truly independent radio voice, CFRO makes a stand every day it broadcasts but it needs the public's help to stay on the air. Hey all,
So, have you recovered from all the scary Halloween good times? We sure hope so, because the long weekend is here, and this Saturday Nov. 10 , we have plans for you. What plans? Well, plans to have a great time with awesome music. Our very own Male Model Machine and G-Rock will be on hand to deliver the goods. Male Model Machine are very busy in the studio these days and getting them out of there is a difficult task, but they are going to be rockin' the Lotus dancefloor along with G-Rock this Saturday. Cover is as always $10 before 12, and $12 after. Guest list can be obtained by emailing guestlist @ intimateproductions.com before 6pm on Saturday. An important note about this Saturday (Nov. 24): (please pass this to everyone that you know is coming):
We are opening at 9:30pm for this show. Get there as early as you can so you get in and don't have to wait in line in the cold and miss out. This WILL be one of the busiest nights in recent memory @ Lotus. Tickets will be available at the door, but will be more than the pre-sale price of course. There are still pre-sales left online and instores if you need one. There is no guest list for this show. SiGNAL VIP members can use their card to get in 1/2 price. OK, this Saturday Dec. 1, 2007, we have Vancouver's own "roof tearer", DJ Timeline, the resident at Stereotype Fridays joining our very own G-Rock for 5.5 hours of pure electronic dance goodnees.
