This Saturday, Jan. 12, residents Abasi and Ollie Ple will be rockin' the decks!

SiGNAL Sessions 06 is scheduled for Feb. 2, with Andy Clockwork and G-rock. :-)

Hey! I live in the Seattle area and I am always bogged down with work, but I'm rolling out to Vancouver in March. Any parties (other than Signal) going on the 1st? It sucks because I need to plan that far ahead just to get some time off, but nobody else in their right mind plans that far ahead. Can anybody let me know if there is something going on Sat Mar 1 or if it's just Signal? Lemme know, thanks!

Saturday is almost here. And do you know what time it is? No, not Peanut Butter Jelly Time... well, it is always a good time for a PB&J sandwich, but Saturday means SiGNAL! And this week (Sat. Jan. 12, 2008), we have residents Abasi and Ollie Plé doing it up! Ollie will start thing up and Abasi will take you to the finish line. That only means the best Electronic Dance Music in the city all night long.

Hey all,

Thanks for a great start to 2008 series of SiGNAL Saturdays so far! This Saturday, Jan.19, 2008 , we are celebrating the birthday of our friend and great DJ, Glyn . Glyn started DJing in the late 90s, playing at and helping organize some of Vancouver's best underground techno parties. His love for underground dance music resulted in a massive record collection, with everything from Kraftwerk records to German minimal techno and then some. In late 2003, Glyn's obsession for music expanded and he got into mash-up DJing and digging crates for all sorts of dance music. He teamed up with Abasi and Dr. Jones and formed Team Trainwreck, who threw down one of Vancouver's first series of mash-up parties and later the Big Trouble Wednesdays. Having had a formal musical background, Glyn also dabbles in production and live PA from time to time. His musical selection is one to be reckoned with, and last time we had him DJ @ SiGNAL, he rocked the dance floor properly, so we can't wait to have him back this Saturday.

Joining him in these musical shenanigans are SiGNAL residents Abasi + G-rock .

Hi All,

Wow! that was good times last Saturday, and a great way to celebrate all those birthdays. Glyn tore the dance-floor apart! Speaking of birthdays, we have a few more this Saturday (Jan. 26, 2008) , with the big one being our resident DJ, Darren Woodhead 's birthday. We are lucky to have this man on board as one of our resident DJs. He is one of Vancouver best DJs/producers and a true music lover, and we re proud to celebrate his birthday with him and friends tomorrow @ SiGNAL.

Our good friend Ghetto is joining Woodhead and Andy Clockwork on the decks to help with the celebrations. From what I hear, there are also a few other people celebrating their birthdays so looks like there is going to be trouble in the house tomorrow for sure. Tomorrow also sees the debut of our new host and Miss Intimate , so be sure to drop by and say hello.
