You don't get much back (other than awesome scenery) for how much you pay here.

sorry to be a hater I like vancouver I really do I just think this survey is a little overblown.

WHAT I DO GET ARE PEOPLE TELLING ME HOW LUCKY I AM TO LIVE IN SUCH A BEAUTIFUL, WONDERFUL CITY. A COMMON COMMENT IS THAT THE PERSON WOULD LOVE TO MOVE HERE. I REALIZE THIS IS ALL PERSONAL ANECDOTES SO TAKE IT WITH A GRAIN OF SALT.

ANYWAYS, WHEN IM NO LONGER IN MY 20S I HIGHLY DOUBT IF I WILL CARE ABOUT WHAT NEW CITY POPULAR MUSIC IS WHORING OUT FOR ALL ITS WORTH BUT I WILL CARE THAT I CAN LIVE DOWNTOWN AND STILL TAKE MY DOG FOR A WALK, RAISE MY KIDS, HAVE GREAT FOOD AND SHOPPING AND ALTOGETHER A GREAT PLACE TO BE.

I MEAN WERE NO ART METROPOLIS BUT THERE ARE NOT MANY NORTH AMERICAN CITIES OUR SIZE WITH A LARGER ART BACKGROUND THAT I HAVE SEEN.

vancouver is nice, and even the skid row is mild compared to US cities.

tho i am told toronto is better, vancouver is nice.

at the local photoshoot for The Middleman series, two police were directing traffic and the studio security jockeys were laid back, despite a dropin within 50 metres of shooting.

occasionally a homeless man would walk by, one of them asking what movie is shooting.

as well none of the homeless were pestering the camera crew for "donations", so i guess they musta did a good will drop off before they started the shoot.
