Awww fuck Kraig that's harsh. I know how much work you and your team put into your shows and I've no doubt that you tried everything you possibly could to have it go off. These things happen and it sucks when it does but at least you're an amazing guy who lets everyone know whats up instead of being sneaky like I'm sure a lot of other promoters might do.
Props to you n your team for doing everything you could with this and all the other events you've ever thrown. Twisted is one of the few reputable companies left out there and I've no doubt you'll keep doing amazing shows. Like Dave said having to cancel a show hurts the promoter just as much as it does the people attending. Those of you worried about getting your refunds... don't. Kraig's a stand up guy and wouldn't say something and then not do it. Cheers Twisted & Co. I hope you guys still have a wikked Halloween.

wasn't planning to go to any parties this weekend and now it looks like I might have to track down a Spooky ticket. All those headliners and drinking, how can bea any better.

well, different strokes for different folks.
I tracked down dooms tickets, and my spooky tix will be in the mail. Have fun at spooky everyone! Congrats to twisted for putting at least something together. Like i say, not my cup of tea, but i haven't given up on future twisted events :)

Kids: Sorry, but I am amazed at all the selfish "what about my halloween!" immature whining going on. It's too bad that your halloween got "ruined" (even though it hasn't happened yet) and that you feel you are special enough to make remarks showing you feel you're entitled to something over other people. It's not all about you. Be thankful for what you have. You are 1 in 6 billion plus people on this earth, children. Shit happens to everyone, life's unfair.
It is unfortunate that the promotors have run into these problems beyond their control. If you feel dissappointed or cheated you should send a letter to the city, once you have learned all the facts. Though, I suspect in turn, the city will have valid reasons. If you are under 18, the letter will hold more weight if your parents sign it as well. No offence! Kraig is there a way to get a refund in person from you (obviously not this weekend, but sometime in the future).
