There's still time people to make other plans if you are under 19 or not wishing to attend Spooky any more for whatever reason. If money is a issue then there are still some cheaper parties that you can attend this Halloween. If money isn't an issue and you still want to party hard then get yourself a Doom's Night ticket.
Much support to Swing Kids/Twisted I wish you all the luck with Spooky. Have an amazing show guys, I understand how hard it must be to deal with this kind of situation. I'd love to attend Spooky, but I can't see myself going home at 4am all piss drunk, especially with all my friend's going to Doom's Night, so that's where I'll be this Halloween. It be a good idea to book the PNE Collisium for some upcoming parties ie NYE or Spooky 10. |

hey kraig..
i wouldn't waste your time with these insignificant questions if I wasn't still planning on coming from the island over to Vancouver for your party.. however i was curious.. because this is a clubnight situation now, will there be In/Out priviledges like you would find at any other club? are you guaranteed to get in with a spooky VIP ticket or is it now a first come, first serve for spooky/cargo ticket holders until / if it sells out? (you can start to see why i am asking about the ability to come and go as we please like any other club question) its a long ways and a bit of $$$ to come from the island and , although i really want to support twisted (like I have been for the past 5 or 6 years) it would be difficult to justify coming over if there were NONE of the advantages of a 19+ club night... I hope this isn't nitpicking but there are logistical considerations for some of us taking the time and $$ and effort to come from the island for this rave turned glorified clubnight. I want to avoid any more disappointment after we've made the effort to come all that way, i am sure you understand given the tenuous nature of this show thus far. Good on you for making it work. Like I said we really want to come and whoop it up with the mainlanders... we just need to make sure its feasible and that we won't be left outside of a sold out show with a spooky VIP tickets in hand cuz we couldn't get there early enough.. or chose to show up later because there are no in/out priviledges. thanks for your time kraig and all those that have tried to make the best of this redtape cluster-fuck |

Hey -Atari-...
First off, thanks for your support with this event and all of our others over the years. To answer your question, yes the night will be operated like a 19+ club night, however clubs in Vancouver that run special events such as this typically don't allow in or outs. We will have a smoking area outside that will be fenced off, but I doubt that security will allow you in or out simply because that poses a safety risk not to mention it would be a zoo at the door. To avoid having any problems at the door, I would suggest coming earlier on IE: 10-11PM. If you come between those times, you will not have a problem getting in. Cheers. |

OK here's my two cents on the topic. Ladies and gentlemen of the jury....lol.....I can honestly say I highly doubt anyone can imagine how stressful this entire ordeal has been for everyone involved. You must all understand that this shitty turn of events could not be more disappointing for the organizers than anyone else. I've sat in this seat and know what it feels like when you get that call. You all of a sudden feel ill and want to puke you guts out but there's little that you can do. It's such a helpless feeling. I know even with all the changes and craziness that has surrounded this years halloween events everything will work out in the end and everyone will ahve a great Halloween. "Keep Ya Head Up".
