Sometimes the city choses to go against what we may think is reasonable, its only a party anyways, and you'll get your money back. Man its like the world ended thanx to twisted, except in all honesty this was out of twisted's hands from the beginning. Don't put the blame on the first thing or company that pops into your head. Look at the real picture. |

Simply put, I can't release the location yet so people please, STOP ASKING! Trust me when I say this though, you will not be disappointed once I do. I promise that as soon as I can, I will release the location information. DO NOT LET THIS DELAY YOU IN BUYING YOUR TICKETS. Feel free to phone any of the stores and ask, but Spooky tickets are moving, and moving QUICKLY. I want to make sure that all of you that want to go, can go for as cheap as possible. SPOOKY isn't Halloween, atleast not this year. I'm not sure why people feel the need to defend Twisted and declare that it's not Twisted's fault. It most deffinitely is Twisted's fault that some people's Halloween got ruined. From the information I've gathered, we all knew at IMF 2004 that Twisted was going to have competition this Halloween. (Maybe some before that?) That means 4 months to find a Venue which fits their needs. (not an easy thing to do) Eventually they had no choice but to go with their plan at Plaza of Nations. But that hadn't all been worked out yet. Decision time. A) Risk waiting for final confirmation on their venue and losing out on early ticket sales to DoomsNight or B) Promote the event and hope everything works out. They chose B) in good faith, of course they wanted everything to work out. The problem is when you gaurantee something AND sell tickets for an event, the people buying the tickets expect it to go through, especially with Twisted's track record. This is where I think alot of people got lost and angry. They bought the tickets, resting their faith in Twisted and it's promises, after all why not? Twisted has produced in the past. The people at Twisted took a calculated business risk and lost. I believe they are sorry, sorrier than we might think because this has a lot more impact on them than just messing around with their Halloween like it did to some of you. This will definitely have some impact on attendance at future events. (Time invested, cancellations, refunds, future events, etc.) But I say, too bad so sad. It's not entirely your fault, but you gambled, and you will have to deal with those concequences now. As for me, I bought my DoomsNight ticket 2 weeks ago. ;p (better lineup, better venue IMO) |

Why do you have to sign up a new user name to say this... obviously you dont want people to know who you are..... What is the reason for this...? if people knew who you were, well would ths affect you in any way or anything or anyone that you are affiliated with...... hmmmmm i wonder????? |

This reallly sucks for those who are underage and bought tickets......I would be pissed too......I'm underage and was originally planning on going to Spooky but changed to doom's cause of the bigger venue and the lineup.....though this is still partly Twisteds fault I don't feel that people should put all the blame on them.....true they coulda started planning and booking earlier for the venue but they didn't......big deal....everyone procastinates only this time it effects more people........but you're forgetting that this is also the gouvernments fault......they coulda given Twisted a little bit more notice and that woulda given them more time to find a more suitible venue......For thse who are of-age: be glad that Spooky is still happening.....at least you still have a party to go to and are getting a partial refund....and for those who are under-age: (not to sound like an assholeand I know most of you won't like this) but shit happens.....it's not the end of the world.....you're getting your money back.....and there are plenty of parties to go to instead (ie. Doom's Night if you can get tickets or Skullfuck).......But this is just my oppinion........didn't try and hide who I was either so if any one has any problems with what I have said feel free to pm me or post here........It doesn't make a differents to me.....I'm just posting this cause I don't think everyone should be hating on Twisted...they still through wicked parties and this one should be no different
P.S. This incident will also have absolutly no effect on weather or not I attend future Twisted Parties........It will still come down to the lineup and the music Last edited by Sniper; Oct 28, 04 at 11:31 AM. |

Maybe when you've thrown a sucessful large scale party with international talent you'll understand things a bit better. But somehow (call me crazy here) I don't think you'll ever be able to. Bit of advice: and GROW UP! |

Kraig, does Twisted have an official position on the "I'm 19+ and want a refund" situation? Can we interpret the refund to extend to all ages generally unhappy with the course of events that took place? |

Your frustration is understandable as if I were your age, I would be pissed too. Obviously this isn't something we wanted! As for getting your money back, you do not have to worry about that, you will be sorted appropriately and as quickly as possible. |

We had our permits in our hands. We had full security, fire and police plans completed and approved. Unfortunately, when the Provincial Liquor Board reviewed this approved permits, they were revoked. Although I understand and appreicate peoples frustration, please ensure YOU understand the situation to its fullest. If you want further details, PM me. Peace. |
