seriously soleil that is not a very good attitude to have bout this matter....its not like twisted said k lets fuck up the venue plans and only have it a 19+ event....out of all the years they've been throwing parties and one fucked up thing happens and all u kids are all geting upset at twisted...wut ever happened to loyal fans...i guess that aint the case no more...im sure and trust me I am possitive that twisted did every fuckN thing to prevent this from happening...those are just my thoughts on this matter....

Whatever Harp. I think most of us have a good reason to be mad. What r we supose to do now..its too late to make other plans... I could haev went to other partys but its to late...tickets r sold out, or to much money for me.

Loyal fans existed in Raves my god but ya deffinatly now 1 fuckup even though they have posted and let you guys know still you jump on them like they planned it out for months.. Give Twisted/SK a break..

Ya i knew this would happen...u speak ur mind and u get told off. I know its not there fault...but fuck, there sure makin it look like it. I dont know what goes on. But what happened really makes me mad. So im letting evreyone know. Why cant it still happen till 4am, but no alcohol....Why did u have to make it a 19+ party?? DIDnt they think about the people like me that still want to go... I want to go but because im only 18, so close to 19, i cant go cause of alcohol! I think i have a right to be a little pissed off. Cause now u guys have it ur way. U can drink all night and not have to drink before the party and thats it. I go to raves cause i love the music. Its the only place i can hear it cause i dont know where to find it. But now i will end up going to Dooms night and listen to the music i dont really enjoy. thats if i can get a ticket...who knows about that. Dont hate on me cause im speakin my mind.

oh Im sorry bout your plans getting cancelled...boo urns...its only one night out of your life that wuz so called messed up....think bout how the organizers of spooky feel bout this...im sure your plans are more important than theirs... like i said b4 its not their fault...and u claimed that u never gonna go to another twisted event czu of this fuck up..now if u knew your homework its SWING KIDS in association with TWISTED not only twisted..so i wouldn't hate on twisted cuz of the city bylaws...now adays its hard to throw massives cuz the city has made it very hard to do so...the only venue left for a massive is PNE and most companies go bankrubt cuz of that venue...like look at Exert and Sweet and ET..wut do these 3 comanies have in common..they all not around..why is that well I'll tell u why czu all their last shows have been at PNE...the city knows that and thats why they not closed down pne..oh yeah ET didn't do any parties at pne..oops my bad...maybe cuz of ppl like u that hate on ppl that dedicated many years to throw shows for u and find out that it wuz all not worth it...hey thats just my 2 cents...hope that helps

here is what i think about refunds...the dj's for spooky will get paid off first before twisted decides to refund the monies owed on refunded tickets. So it may be months before you see your money..try next year?:070:

i can see both sides to this:

don't tell people they can't be angry about this, they are totally allowed to be angry. they were mislead (whether by the fault of the city or not) not just once, but twice about this party.

yeah, whatever, it's just halloween. go make other plans. but everyone here has the right to be upset.

First off I'd like to say I always have and always will support Twisted. Without them there is no party scene in Vancouver, imo.
I have gone to Spooky every year since Spooky 5, it is BY FAR my favourite party of all time. Spooky 5 was my very first party and I met my boyfriend of 2 years now at Spooky 7. It's the only party I still get really excited for.
Unfortunately because of the situation I've decided to buy a Dooms ticket, for a number of reasons.
And like Sidekick said, people definately have a right to be upset! My brother is 18 so he can't go to Spooky and had to borrow money to get a Dooms ticket since he won't get his refund for awhile. I feel even worse for any underage kids who aren't on fnk and won't know til they get there it's 19+ !!
I am over 19 and will be asking for a refund for my Spooky ticket, I hope that's not an issue although there's no way they will know how old I am when I mail my tickets.

But i do feel symphathetic for those are are getting screwed out of there halloween plans.... all you can really do is suck it up and find somewhere else to party....
