Chickens are also normally kept at about 4 degrees when you put them in the microwave (less if you're thawing). Babies start around 37 degrees.

Think about it, man. Microwaves generally cook stuff faster than pre-heated ovens, right? How long do you think it would take to generate third-degree burns in a pre-heated oven?

The microwaves pass through the object but it still cooks from the outside in. Microwaves work much more efficiently on liquids (of which we have quite a bit of in our body) than sugars and fatty stuff.

forget the burns, id be amazed if she didnt have all kinds of problems just from those 20seconds later on or right around the corner.
