Point was actually a good one. That Raves != Ecstacy and Ecstacy != Raves. It's a drug and can be done recreationally in many locales that aren't raves. Sadly it's become so tied in with the culture that nobody seems to think that there's a perfect corellation with doing E and going to raves. So they do a shitload of E at raves. A lot more than say, Mushrooms or Acid, which I honestly think would be a bit better to do at a rave (given that you're in the right state of mind...)

Plaza brings new ravers, it's a fact. I know people... a lot of people who only attend Plaza parties. Why? Because it's plaza.

When selling tickets for parties, I will tell them about the party and the always ask where it is. I'll say, "Some venue in Vancouver that will be released soon.". Their first respose is, "IT'S NOT AT PLAZA! Nah... I don't think i'll go."

A lot of these people are asian girls and guys around 16 - 18. Whose first party was a plaza party and only parties are plaza parties.

People generally go to raves to do drugs and party... straight up. Not usually people within the scene like most people on this board, but others. A large percent or raves are full of people who have no information about the acual scene and what not. THe majority of people just buy their tickets, go to party, do drugs, then go home. Then they don't think twice about it after... just another night to them.

Raving is not about acceptance...I'm sorry but that's something i have to disagree with you. Majority kids that do go that are newbie ravers as many as you people refer to them as...but The Plaza does not bring new people to parties...People being their friends to parties. IF you go raving because the want to meet new people and get accepted that's sad...i would never go to a rave just to get "accepted" in a group. I go raving because I love to just chillout with my friends meet new people but not to get accepted. Nevertheless you are entitled to your own opinion. This is just my thought. But i do agree that majority people do go to raves to have a good time and hey if you meet a new friend or to that's just better for you
