i really dont know what it is. perhaps its the features of asian guys. i'm not a fan of the squinty asian eyes (chink eyes). i like my man to be distinctly taller than me when i'm in heels and have a bit of a build. i'm generalizing when i say this but most asian guys are shorter and are pretty skinny. my bro is a stick and he's been trying to put on some mass for years but has never been able to do it.

i'm sure there has to be an asian guy i've never seen before that would be attractive to me. i'm not saying all asian guys are ugly. they just dont seem to catch my eye. but just cause i'm not attracted doesnt mean other people arent. a few people have stated in this thread that they think asian men are hot.

the pop culture influence. i'm not too sure. maybe a bit? i was born in hong kong so the canadian culture isnt the only culture i've known. i've found guys form otehr races to be attractive, so its not just caucasions.

Ok, I have jus 1 thing 2 say. Im an AZN guy and I think dat there are good thingz about gurlz from all nationalities and races. From my experience, I've met some of the dopest lookin gurlz dat are: White, Black, Asian, European, Spanish and Mixed. but chinese ppl are NOT all short
china is a big country w/ lots of regions
and each region is distinctly different
ppl whose ancestry is from the north r taller than those from the south
most chinese in vancity have southern ancestry
that's why they're shorter
my own heritage can be traced back 28 generations on my father's side
right back to the northern part of china (so i am told neways)
and @ 5' 11'' i may not be tall, but i ain't short either

^yeah, you're above average in respect to the height thing. and i''m just stereotying with the asians i see in the vancouver area well and the ones in HK when i visited.

i have noticed that a lot of asian people have smaller eyes. i think its more to do with bones structure though. not every asian person has squinty eyes, and i've seen people of other ethnicities with them as well.

i''m not calling you ugly stephen. i'm not calling asian peole ugly (cause i think i'm hot.. jk ) but i'm just not attracted to the majority of the asian population here. perhaps i'm just weird :S

there r many reasons y chinese guys r excluded from interracial relationships
and even preferences by their own kind.
those reasons all fall under the prevailing popular culture.
rite now, at this point in time,
ppl in general see the chinese male as being lesser than males of other color.
those ppl r not only white females,
but also naturalized chinese females as well. (at least here in vancity)

but that's what I mean. Because of the influence of western pop culture, they are not as attracted to chinese males. Pure asian guys are never shown as sex symbols in movies, t.v. shows, etc so women are not conditioned to view them as such. The only asian guys in movies (other than stereotypical martial artists with accents) are mixed like Keanu Reeves, Dean Cain, Russel Wong, or Brandon Lee (RIP).

I know PLENTY of white girls that prefer Asian (usually Chinese or Japanese) guys over white guys - I'm one of them!

It all comes down to personal preference - it's nothing that you can control, it just IS. Kinda like how the sun rises in the East...there's no changing it!

I don't think most white girls have a policy to NEVER date a chinese guy. They just don't consider it unless faced with the prospect. I agree though, that there are WAY less asian guys dating white girls as opposed to asian girls dating white guys.
