SOLID CORP is providing everyone an option this year's halloween. Competition is healthy because if there was only one show - tickets prices will be extremely expensive plus you will only see a mediocre lineup.

However, this year with 2 shows -- it means both with KICKASS lineups + competitive prices + quality for all of you to choose from. I think Vancouver is once again spoiled. :110:

So all the food put into the VIP room was done so by the PNE staff and Solid had nothing to do with it. and yes I know planning a show like that is very difficult, and im not saying I could do better or that the whole show sucked, im just simply saying, what did you guys expect when you let the Pacific Coliseum plan a VIP room for a rave, of course they will give you stale popcorn and chips, look at the concessions at the PC even when the Canucks were there, it simply sucked, so why leave it up to them.

and your telling me that when solid found out the VIP room sucked, they couldnt have went and got cases of water from the concession and given them out free in the VIP room or somethin?

yeah, either that or neither comapny will be taking a big risk on a large headliner this year because they know that there probably won't be enough people to go around and they're both going to be nervous, so they'll be cutting corners and they'll drop headliners at the last minute. i've got a 4 litre tub of neopolitan safeway ice cream for the first person that can honestly tell me they think all of the headliners will show up at both parties.....

ok ive been reading a lot of posts in regards to the solid event. But in regards to the more recent posts about vip rooms, all i have to say is, some of the promoters cheap out!! Its simple. I know they shouldnt provide u with all u can eat buffet or treat u like royalty, but those vip rooms LOOK LIKE SHIT. Its not even about the service, it just looks like shit with a couch in the middle and a lot of subway garbage on the side. I remember when some promoters would offer massage tables in the vip room, orange wedges, some fruit, all night. And people never went in the vip room to fukin eat. They went there for a few minutes of refreshment. I know times have changed, people have changed and therefore the services offered have changed, but please, if your gonna offer a vip room at least make it look like one. Even if your not gonna provide services. It seems that everytime someone makes a complaint about a certain company, the friends of the promoters just have to jump on it!! I mean i know fnk is composed of closely bonded people. But that still doesnt give some of you the right to deffend your promoter friend, just becuz they are your friend. Or as someone mentioned earlier, just becuz you would suck their dick just so u can get in their parties for free. The only way our scene and parties would get better is for us to comment on parties and for the promoters to read this. And hopefully learn somethin from it.
