People loose enough money as it is at underground parties.
Do you want cheap tickets and little security or $$$ tickets with full security. Its hard enough for a small party to book headliners on thier budgets. Two to Four Bad ass security can not control 10 people with weapons and Bear Mace. Even at plaza Shows, I watched the security, and it takes about 5 guys to control one Raging nammer. Rhia you should shut up when you do not know what you are talking about.

A quick comment on having security at all undergorund parties, fuck that.
There will never be any type of security at a party Doom is involved in, never. Doom finds the idea reprehensible. Maybe it's not so much a problem with secuirty as it is a problem with the certain types of people going to certain parties.

i hope you guys can recover from this.
For any promotor/organization, thats a really uncool series of events to happen to a party you put so much time and organization and funding into. you may not want nor need it, but you got my support.

i think the problem here is the people complaining haven't got any idea what it takes to put on a show.
and think about this, how many other promoters would have 15 20 kids backing them up right away without question even in the real threat of danger. if i were all of you id feel safer at one of our shows where there are people with that kind of loyalty willing to jump in there like that then i would with 2- 4 security guards, especially in a situation like the one that happened on friday

Security: People hired by a private organization to guard an event and maintain order. and especially to protect the people at the event.
a security guard is hired because he/she is willing to do what it takes to protect the people/venue he/she was hired for. they should already have considered the worst situation possible an know exactly how to contain and prevent it.

I understand that underground parties are on a very tight buget and this can scare me as sometimes dangerouse risks are taken... and I too take that risk when I attend. I think for a small enough party you can get away with out having to hire security. However if your inviting the public and advertising it to the unknown... lets take some caution? It was unfortunate what happened. I believe that Swiftbeats and MRC did the best they could to control the fight. They did what they believed would keep everyone as safe as possible. There was no stopping these guys. Do you think that if they had been searched they would've handed over thier weapons? I don't think so. They were determined to do what they came to do. Everyone who is talking shit should shut their mouths. Thank god everyone is ok. That's the important thing.

Some of us are trying to make a point that there are certain ways of dealing with things. I dotn know how this incodent was delt with, but I would trust trained/organized security would?
