Anti-Survival

Religous or not, I think this trend would make both Jesus and Darwin cry.

let's take a gander back to greek times, before everything got mucked up by relgious folk who claimed that it wasn't natural. greek guys went around screwing other guys all the time. it was the natural thing to do.

i think living a sexually repressed way of life is the unhealthy one. if you deny your sexual needs and desires it just fucks you up. take a look at all those priests who fiddle around with young boys because they can't get any anywhere else.

Remember the story of Moses and how he kept trying to get Pharoah to let his people free? But yet every time Moses showed God's might, every time Pharoah was given a chance to pay attention to reason ("God... is.... pissed!" - Brian, Family Guy), his heart was hardened. It took the death of his son before he finally paid attention to what was going on around him.

There's a difference between being stubborn like Pharoah and being righteous like Saint Stephen.

I once saw a guy on tv in one of those poor african countries, this guy lived in a shack with a dirt floor. On the side of the shack he had ingraved "de maison de Jesus" . When asked why he said it was because Jesus gave him everything he needed. I found this impressive.

i was just reading in the globe and mail today that this religious group is worried that if same-sex marriage passes through the federal government, it could mean that some religious groups speaking out against gay marriage would be labelled as discriminatory.

I'd also like to point out that the stats for HETEROSEXUAL HIV transmission is probably higher than homosexual transmission in Africa because many MANY men believe that by sleeping with young virgin girls that they can be cured of HIV/AIDS. So not only are these men transferring the disease to innocents, these girls (and I'm talking I've read reports of girls as you as NINE) are being RAPED for their "cure".

So your saying precedent is set for gay guys to spread HIV because a bunch of effed up in the head african men are raping young girls causing hiv transmission. Thank god are laws aren't quite as bad as that........YET

This study provides additional evidence that the practice of homosexuality, with its attendant lifestyle, shortens the life of practitioners by about 20 years.

"Obituaries have indicated that gays seldom reach old age," Cameron said. "Indeed, gay obituaries suggest that engaging in homosexuality costs participants between 15 to 25 years of life, suggesting that homosexuality is more dangerous than smoking or being fat.
