^ well yea, of course their conception for "mother" and "father" differ greatly from our conception, but they still have *words* for them.
All those articles at least states something about having a "parent" I took an anthropology course focused entirely on hunters and gatherer tribes and the entire first week was learning about kinship structures and familial structures and yea, the raising of children and even the words existing for family members is far different and more complex than the western nuclear family ideal, but the words still exist (damned if I can remember them tho).
