Family court was designed for this very thing. To urge the other parent who does not have sole-custody to pay child-support. If the father is unsafe, the courts can impose no visitation, or supervised visitation. If the father chooses to not pay support, his wages can be garnished, his license taken away, or the courts can go as far as to arrest him. I am the by-product of a single parent family. My mother never ever EVER
used being a single parent as a weapon. If she was broke, she never phoned her creditors and said, give me a break, I am a single mother. She went without for me more times than I can remember. She never played the victim with her single mother status like poohbearhoney is. I am a well rounded, well adjusted individual and I have been raised for my entire life without my father in the picture. My mother took on both roles, and did what she could, with what she had. What I am saying, is maybe she should try looking at the glass half full instead of half empty and turn her negative situation into a positive one.

And once again, I hold true to what I said, there are 3 sides to every story. We haven't heard his....for all we know, she could be denying him visitation.

PS - I find it hard to take seriously what you are saying, when you are the one that openly admits to smoking while pregnant.

uhhhh,actually the majority of prviate training institutes are not recgonized by employers as having provided exceptional training...just to name a few like sprott shaw or like compu college,ill have to talk to my mom and get a list of the rest.

so yes,it has alot to do with where you go as well as the knowledge you attain.

I graduated highschool, english is my second language and was always my worst subject in school, planning on starting schooling soon to further my career. I am pretty dumb when it comes to music, tried to learn notes but for some reason my brain could never remember where everything goes, and what it means.

I am 22, not pregnant and not planning to be for a long time.

ha. depends what you're doing. i was simply stating that you can take a lot from a place like that. all my bookkeeping, computerized accounting, and microsoft courses are very well recognized. i didn't take a lot of what i like to call filler courses. not to mention the fact that i'm lucky enough to have excellent connections once i'm out. and i do say lucky......not everyone is gonna have that when they leave. but i do know that completeing those course with my 98% looks a lot batter than some average joe without school applying for the same postion :)

learning is NEVER a bad thing. and we're talking about a diploma here. i'm obviously not comparing it to people going to ubc and getting degrees......thats a totally differenct ballgame. i needed something to learn the basics of accounting to get the postion thats open for me.....and i've done more than that :)

hehe.....okay i just re-read what i said when you quoted me. your right that going to a better institution LOOKS better than say a private college. the way i worded that wasn't really what i meant. what i meant was that if you want to sell yourself to a business and have only gone to private college its VERY much doable. i was stating that you CAN take yourself just as far. i don't care what looks better.......my attitude and grades(proving that i do have the knowledge) are whats gonna get me the job........and i'm proud of my education

If anything, a Bachelor's in Arts (if you're actually interested in learning) can at the very least help you to think critically and provide you with an analytical viewpoint towards issues and problems - even if you decide not to specialize in your major as a career choice.

yeah, I've only been in the mainland for about 5 or 6 months. I wasn't criticising or knocking his talent. I was more getting at the fact that not everyone has heard of everyone, even when the DJ is in the scene they've been partying in for half a year. It's useless to argue who's a superstar or not until they're doing massive multi-international tours and having their name plastered all over BPM and worldwide electronica mags. Should have probably elaborated, my bad.

Your right Godessa, I am making an assumption about what she is doing in regards to her children. But considering what I have seen her post, I am willing to bet that she hasn't gone through the proper channels for either father yet.

If she had come online and said, "My ex Dave is an asshole". I wouldn't have batted an eye at the thread. But seriously, what is the point of coming on FNK? There was nothing acheived by it. She came online and whined about it. If it were me in this situation, I wouldn't do that. I don't see whining on FNK a "natural human reaction", I see it as an attention grab. And look at all the attention she got as a result.

And you are right, I probably won't be a single mother, as I don't believe in having children at all. If I have them, it is going to be because I want to share that experience with my significant other, and I take every measure available to me to prevent myself from getting pregnant.
