# 2 cans red kidney beans or small red beans, drained
# 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
# 1 large onion diced
# 1 green bell pepper diced
# 1 can corn niblets
# 1 pound lean ground beef
# 2 cans tomatoes
# 2 tablespoons tomato paste
# 2 tablespoons chili powder (although I usually just eyeball it)
# 1 teaspoon garlic powder (eyeballed and to taste)
# Salt & Pepper to taste
# 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (I eyeball this usually too)

- Start by sweating your onions and peppers (S&P as you go) on medium heat
- Add and brown your beef
- Add first dump of chili powder while browning
- Add tomatoes and beans
- Add tomato paste and reduce heat by half
- Add can of corn
- Add rest of spices to taste and simmer

The longer you let it simmer the thicker and tastier it will get.

Top it with chopped green onions, sharp cheddar and a dollop of sour cream.

I hope it works out for you cause I don't use a recipe anymore when I'm making mine, so I just sort of guessed at measurements.

i will play with it a bit.
i am a firm believer that chili should be all about the beans and meat. not a lot of other veggies.

trust me, my chili has never steered anyone wrong.

the corn adds a nice sweetness.

yours obviously won't be as good as mine, I'm pretty much a guru when it comes to this.

Also, and I know this doesn't really help you today Avana, but it's even better if you let it sit in the fridge overnight and then reheat.

i know you want carnivore chilli. but if anyone wants an amazing veggie chilli, i have the best recipe ever from my moby cookbook.
bret made a boatload a few weeks ago. mmmm. sooo freakin good.

cook them with lemon, garlic, and a bit of peppermint.

Take some roma tomatoes, some sweet onion, fresh basil and some calamata olives.

Roughly chop the tomatoes, basil and onion and pit the olives.

Then combine and season with s&p.

Drizzle some olive oil on your fillets.

Season the snapper fillets lightly with a mixture of paprika, thyme, garlic and cayenne.

put it all together on a baking sheet and bake at 400 for about 15 to 20 mins depending on how thick your fillets are.
