Let me know how that series is. Have not read any CS Lewis except for the Chronicals of Narnia (An amazing series, love reading it) and I'm kinda curious as to what some of the other books are like.

missbehaviour - i've never heard of anyone else reading (let alone re-reading) the mists of avalon. i love that book. i've probably read it a dozen times.

i'm currently re-reading the fountainhead by ayn rand, and reading An Unexpected Light; Travels in Afghanistan by Jason Elliot.

I just finished reading the Forest House too. Read that one? It's one of the Prequels to Mists of Avalon (which is, btw, my favorite book of all time. I've lost count of the number of times I've read it).

Now I'm reading Porno by Irvine Welsh.

yeah, i've read the forest house and the lady of avalon (i believe that's what it's called...?) i've read all of them numerous times, but yeah, the mists of avalon is great. i was obsessed with arthurian legend for quite some time, when i was planning on going on exchange the university of sydney tempted me because it offers a course in arthurian fiction. :(

ahh good eh? have you read some of cs.lewis' short stories?? i cant remember the name of it.. but there is a really horrid one about some guy having sex with a leper :) (least i think it was lewis)
anyway atm im reading "Living and Working in Canada" well i just finished it.. pretty interesting read... written in a very casual manner.. lots of interesting facts too.. not that id know if they were true or not!
ie: Canadians invented - Basket Ball (woot!)

anyway i guess ill find out soon enough if its all bs or not ;)

Ack NOOOOOOOO after book three it all went to hell.. ie when he started to draw it out :( beautiful idea, wonderful universe, awesome characters.. untill book 4/5/6/7..... etc

pity too.. just gets predictable in the extreme.. also his character development sux hairy ass.. and he seems a bit try hard feminist.. every female hard and sniffley.. how imaginative. Anyway i never noticed all that till the story went away.. (book 7 i think bowl of winds?)

patooi :^)
