In under two months I will begin making payments on a 2004 SRT-4! Electric Blue with Kicker option and sunroof added.
I work at a Dodge dealership, so I got the sh-t all filled out already with the salesman. I am just waiting to save enough for a $3000 down payment.

It is a recipe for torque steer, but I have driven them many times and it's nothing like some of the Acuras or other high horsepower FWD coming out these days. They (Dodge) have done a great job at dealing with this problem. But then again, torque steer can be handled by anyone who is expecting it.

A PT Cruiser GT will try to yank the wheel out of your hands more than the SRT-4, even with an auto trans.

90% of the SRT-4 owners are fuckin retards... seriously, you must consider this if you are thinking of buying one. You're going to get shit on for other people's dumbass remarks.

Thankfully, I know my stuff.

Oh no, they are obviously very good shoppers... but it doesn't really take that much sense to point out a deal like that!

The people I am talking about are the fuckers on automotive forums bragging about being in the 10's after $3000 worth of upgrades and smoking Cobras right after pulling the car away from the dealer parking lot. Come tell us your stories after you have purchased and installed the Mopar Stage 3 and got the whole set up dyno tested... THEN come talk to me about kill stories.

Well, I do see what you're saying for some of it, including the gutlessness and the value for the money. But everything is it just seems opinion based, which isn't a bad thing at all.

I don't like PT Cruisers. Ugly ugly ugly ugly oh yah... did I say FUGLY? But anyhoo, I got to go for a rip in an SRT-4, pretty peppy little thing. I'd actually consider driving one, much rather have a Stage 2 Kit on it though. But if I had my way I'd prolly buy a 2001 Dakota R/T and stroke it to 393 and slap on a 17psi Twin Screw Blower. :kam:

Yeah, I mentioned how much torque steer the PT Cruiser GT has, and all of sudden it turned into the "Pound the PT Cruiser up its ugly ass with its provided owner's manual" thread.

They are a very good vehicle for what they are. The GT models are a blast to drive and the new convertible offers a new level of enjoyment.

The Dodge SX 2.0 (not Neon, anymore) are a great economy car.

I think you people are looking too much into these cars. Just because they don't earn top honors in performance, does not mean they suck. Take them for what they are and realize they are not aimed at certain demographics.

It's still a Chrystler... nothing good can come of that. Let's just say, I've driven alot of cars. I'm very certian I'm right when I say, they arn't worth what they cost.

Plus... DUDE, they're ugly!

You're talking about economy cars, man!

What do you think of the 300C? Crossfire? Pacifica...? DCX has made a major turn around and is coming out with some heavy contenders.

Don't come in here with your stubborn opinions and lay them down as facts...

Both vehicles are priced VERY generously in their respective classes... but that's the way the domestic pricing goes these days. If you get the right dealer, they are practically giving them away...

That kind of sums up your side of the arguement pretty well...

You'll read up on it and come back in 5 minutes saying the Crossfire sucks because the spring rate is too harsh... it's a sports coupe... shut the hell up.:198:

I work at a fuckin Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep dealership! I've driven every model each company has come out with... yes, that includes the SRT-10 Viper and Ram. See, I'm actually an automotive enthusiast, I look at the vehicles in a different way than you because I know the business.
