Yeah man! That's why you see millions of them on the road.

You get what you pay for.

They are a little optomistic (to be expected), but reasonable to what I'm actually getting in my 2wd '97 5.4L. Those specs you list work out to 14mpg city, and 18mpg hwy. (I have a better feel for mpg). I can get 14mpg in the city in my truck if I really try (drive like a granny). The best I've ever gotten was 17.5 mpg driving the hope-princeton from Penticton to Langley with heavy traffic, but my highway is usually 15-16mpg.

...You can figure out your L/100km after driving any distance. Its probably better to get a more average reading if you do the calc over a longer distance.
yes, the lastest model
ur 97 prob gets better mileage
the 04's r sooooo heavy
i think they're almost 4000lbs

I commented that all the dodge talk in this thread "sucks" and then i posted a pic of a car that I consider the "new Hotness" which happens to be a non production caddy (way to go ! Gold star!) .

Understand?

^Yeah, I've heard the new '04's are about 500lbs heavier than the previous generation...but they have made some improvements in the gas mileage. I'm sure it all comes out in the wash anyways. Either way, they all get pretty crappy mileage ha ha.

Wow , so sensitive , but thats my opinion.

I know people that work at dealerships and have a burning passion for the cars at said dealership, and when they move to a dealership that sells a different car, their allegiance goes with them. I would love dodges if I was surrounded by them all day too. But face it, you put a dodge side by side with all of its competitors , and dodge/chrysler would lose out most of the time.

Fuck the hemi.

I've had a passion for Dodge my whole life. It's the company I have stuck with through thick and thin.

"lose most of the time..." I'd like to see all the tests and reviews, of each vehicle against all of their competitors, before you make accusations like that. Unless you're just going off of opinion again... if so, good on yah.

Brand new and/or retooled vehicles mean nothing if nobody wants them. Dodge makes the Caravan, which sells extremely well. The SX 2.0 is quickly becoming a popular choice for young adults as a sporty, yet affordable automobile. The 300C is a car that can and already has brought a company to the fore front of the industry. The Crossfire mixes both German and American engineering to become a very sucessful Sport Coupe, especially with the soon to be released SRT-6... these are just come of the examples.

GM has quite a mission on their hands, I'm not doubting them, but some others have got quite a headstart.

Caravan - poor imitation of a Honda Odyssey that Chrysler needs to pay cust. to drive off the lot w/ average $3500 worth of incentives while Hondas are a 4 years old design and are still selling better.

Neon - An interior made by Tupperware, that the only reason people buy it is the price and they don't want a Kia.

300C = '95 Mercedes E class with truck engine. They designed the platform, transmission, rear suspension and lots more over a decade ago and just put a new body on it. Yes the styling is better then anythng else domestic but not at the fore front of the industry. Look at BMW or Nissan for trend setters in the sytling dept.

Crossfire/ SRT-6 = '96 to '02 Mercedes SLK. Its not evan made by Chrysler, they are made in Czech Republic by Kharmann Ghia. The SRT-6 is an AMG engine that isn't good enough for them to use anymore. Its a SOHC 18 valve dual sparkplug engine that needs to be supercharged to 14psi to get any horsepower from it!!

I don't like GM at all but at least they are staying true to there roots. Chrysler is now just a division of a German company.
