I have been out of school for so long I worry it would be too hard to adjust and i'd end up not following through.

What I'm saying that judging someone else's life goals as "sad" is pretty depressing...

But if the fact that I played video games with a large group of friends last weekend nullifies my opinion in your view so be it. I will come back with a valid opinion once I start the intellectually stimulating and world changing activities you and your friends participate on the weekend.

Until then you are free to hold people's goals accountable based on your own.

To be honest, I have a really hard time believing you have no future goals other then settling down and having kids, it's impossible, we all need something to work toward that isn't just fantasy and requires a little backbone. I have several, but I only listed a quick long term goal and the fact I'm pretty happy with how things are going.

No, I was taking about the fact that you never call out your rockband buddies for being assholes on this message board. It seems like everyone is fair game except for unemployed/underemployed college drop outs. Why is that? You keep going on and on about how depressing it is to be judgmental about people. I can name at least two of your friends who've made fun of and judged people for having mental health issues. What issues are ok to be judgmental about? Please clarify that.

I've seen your friends say things that you normally would come down on, but you don't.

I've seen things that my friends say and I don't come down on (hence why we're friends).

Hell, a lot of my friends say things occasionally (on here, or in person) that I might think are stupid. However I don't go running at them screaming. And I doubt you do the same with your friends. Pointing out every single thing you don't agree with your friends about is a quick way to lose friends...

That might be because I told her that she is a pathetic, lonely, 40something woman, who'd never escape the dingy westend apartment she lives in.

But that was only after she called me a cunt (as witness by my roommate) without any provocation whatsoever because I called her on some illegal (as per the residential tenancy office) stuff she was trying to do with ppl's damage deposits.
