Woah... damn this thread is outta control! As I work for Twisted I would, and since it appears some of you know this individual that unfortunately OD'd at our show this past weekend, would like to pass on our thoughts and prayers to her and her family if infact she had a heart attack (at 15, that is crazy), multiple seizures and her lungs colapsed. That is some serious stuff.
Of course Twisted Productions does not encourage or condone the use of drugs at our shows but it does happen. We do go to great lengths to ensure the safety of everyone at the show by ensuring security, police, fire and paramedics are paid for and on site at all times but unfortunately, people make dangerous choices that are beyond our control completely. I certainly respect everyones opinion, you are each entitled to your own but you should remember one thing... We are trusting what was read off of another website about the Plaza of Nations being shut down. Until this is annouced formally, I really wouldn't worry about the rumours that tend to fly when stuff like this happens. Peace.

This girl made a stupid decision, so did myles.
EVERYONE MAKES STUPID DECISIONS. And then they have to suffer the consequences. I'm sorry, but 4 caps of E + blow + ghb?? Do people not know anything? Yes, she's 15.. yes that's young. But it's not like she was trapped in a little box for 15 years, away from EVERYTHING, and then suddenly released at a plaza party. Kids are going to do drugs, regardless of plaza parties. If plaza parties continue, there will just be more of them. But they will do them, plaza parties or not. Hell, there was a kid at my school who od'd on E at a school dance! Closing one place won't stop them all from doing stupid shit, it just might stop a few.

The fact of the matter is that it is very unlikely that this girl will get a second chance.. if she does... things will be very difficult fot her.

and other good thing about small parties is there is a lot more one on one contact with the people at the events. So people that are older and more experienced tent to educate others. People do more looking out for one and an other.
Ok this is not perfect I know, especially with the huge influx of people 1999-2001. There was a bit of gap with new people and older one because of the shear number, and the fact the older people moved away to harder to find little events. But still it's way better a plaza party. And I will not get in to bitching about how lame Azim had been with letting Dance Safe in to his events, and how little support some one that’s making so much money of these events gave to HarmReduction. (Salim on the other hand has always been cool)

twisted did not choose to have their flyer at a bus stop/loop, off the wall, etc.
most of the people in this world is stupid anyhow. smart people kno how to make money. and in this case it's the twisted guys who know how to "market" u go to a rap concert or a rock concert and i gurantee u there will be a massive amount of people doing drugs of all sorts.. maybe not e but pot, coke, etc. should all the super clubs in europe be shutdown kuz all of them have experienced od's? i'm sure one club there has had more od's than all the od's in plaza alone. maybe all their clubs should shutdown. and we'll live happily ever after die electronica die

You're obviously too upset to see things clearly andything I've said I'm quite sure the doctors have todl her parents.... after being on life support for a certai amount of time brain damage starts to set in.... It would take a miracle for her overcome that...... don't get me wrong I feel for her family and especially her mother.. look what your friend is putting them through all because she wanted to have a good time experimenting with large amounts of different drugs.

hmmm there was another overdose that they didn't announce on the news...heh, i processed her drug orders at the pharmacy :P
but whatever it's all their own fault, everyone knows that drugs aren't safe, no matter how careful one is.

Its really sad that to hear about that girl. But people do make there own choices... i wouldn't go as far as saying drugs are safe, but you can sure have fun with them at at *responsible* level, if you know your limits. Anywase, this isn't the first time somthing like this has happened at plasa. They won't shut it down, think about all the money they make off parties! Plus i thought twisted was awesome, so i wouldn't want to see it gone... but as i said that woul'd never happen
