i fucking hate cases like this cuz it gets my parents nagging me like theres no tomorrow.. i wanna slap them right now to shut up. this is the complete reason why i hardly touch drugs and when i do i know where its from. putting my life on the line is scary enough and having my parents worry isn't worth it. rave = music.. not rave = drugs thank you.
oh here we go..now my moms yelling at me about how stupid i am to be a ticket whore and carry money around for ppl who can't handle an overdose..blah blah blah blah blahhhhhhhhh!!! ACKZ. fuckkkkkkk im really going psycho right now..

Drunk people can be a hazard to themselves and others that is why they are taken away for detox.
I personally have never seen a couple of etarded people beating the crap out of each other. Most of the time they just lie there spaced out of their minds... hell... if one person hugged the other they would probably forget what started the whole incident anyway. I doubt that the city or the police will bother taking people away due to the fact they don't have enough resources to control the criminal situations that occur in Vancouver right now. It would be easier to leave all these high people in one area where they can be monitored and supervised than to let them out and then try to control them then.

I realise this girl made her own decisions, and we have to deal with what we have chosen to do, but does that make it fair, no. I can't believe some of you muthafuckas have no compassion for this little 15 year old, it makes me sick. But what I'm wondering is where were her friends (chances are they are young and dumb too) or her sister to look over her, they must've known what and how much she took right? I agree with what some of you said about the marketing strategies being in places where the target age group is like 13-18, and for the new ravers, but that definatley doesn't mean for them to do drugs, chances are they're gonna though, that can't be stopped. For some reason raves and drugs go hand in hand and they have been for ages. It's sorta like clubs and drinking. Some people go to clubs and get drunk, some people go to parties and get ripped. You just need to know the possible consequences and make a conscious decision, which is very tough to do at 15. But just because things are around doesn't mean you have to do them, even though others do and it's "cool". I think form had a really good point about the yowzers and all that. If indeed she had some ruff parents that she had lied to and in no way would support her going to raves and doing drugs then chances are she woulda gone into some shit. For a young girl high out of her mind to be approached by a group of cops and then questioned would certainly be overwhelming, and intimidating. Admitting to being on ecstasy and then being told that they are gonna try and contact her sister and parents to let them know the scenario must've sent her into a fenzy. I'm sure thoughts of what was going to happen to her at home hit her ass like an anvil, and being high as fuck just hightened it. Maybe she had never even delt with cops before and this would not have been a good time. I know how I felt at that age talkin' to cops when I know I had done something wrong, I can only imagine how she felt. Chances are that that girl felt very uncomfortable around them cops and they probably weren't the nicest of people either, most cops are not good at making people feel comfortable, it's their job, fuckin' bitches!!! As far as plaza being shut down, it's happened before, remember after stargate? I'm not sure the circumstances as to why it was shut down then, but you can't rule out it not happenning again, although I hope and don't think it will. All in all this girl made some bad decisions and now she is paying for it, which really SUCKS. But you live and learn, and sometimes it takes something to happen to realise, which is fuckin' weak, but I guess that's how it is. If you do research and gain some knowledge about what you are gonna do, shit usually won't happen, or at least if something does happen it's out of your control. im 17, been to 5 raves, and very much enjoy raving, i know alot about raves, and drugs, and prolly know more than most of you fags. my parents know i go to raves, they dont care, so neither should you. i dont do drugs or go to raves cuz they are "cool" or cuz i saw it on Tv or on a flyer. I go cuz i like the muzik, and i like to dance. but just cuz im 17 makes you think i shouldnt go? god, im sick of you haters tryin to stop certain ppl from going. ever think some ppl might not want you to go, cuz you look dumb when u dance? or you dont know anything about raves? i feel sorry for the chick who od'ed, shit happens, havent you ever tripped out on something before? even my accedent? not even taking alot of E or whatever drug? i have, and my friends have. so what? big fucking deal.

first off there are points i agree with on both sides of this argument.
But as we all know, there is a risk that we ALL take everytime we do drugs and we accept that the very second we decide to do them. So do not judge and say "stupid girl". Although it was not very smart of her, some people just don't know the difference. One of her friends (who she most likely trusts) could have told her this amount would be ok..who knows. OR she could have just started off with doing 1 cap of e and it just snowballed because again.. WE ALL KNOW DRUGS IMPARE YOUR JUDGEMENT I'm almost positive she didn't start off the night sayiing "i think i'll do 4 caps of e, some coke, some ghb" and whatever else she did. Not everybody has a head for drugs and not everybody knows there limit. You learn from your mistakes... sometimes the easy way and sometimes the hard way. what she did was most definately a mistake and i think only if she does this mistake again can we judge her. SIDE NOTE: i swear if i hear one more thing about "elite junglists" or "party-kids" or fucking "newbies" and "OLSCHOOLERS" i'm going to bloody well scream my fucking head off! you people need to get over yourselves! OOOHH geuss what.. this might blow your minds i prefer d&b over trance and hard house AND I LOVE THE PLAZA JUST AS MUCH AS ANY OTHER PARTY! just cause you only like small parties doesn't make you elite just cause you only like plaza doesn't make you elite so shut up!

as to the dude to 5 raves and the dude to 100+ raves. obviously being to 5 raves, doesn't consitute yourself as an expert in the subject. you nor anyone else here, unless they're a chemist (and even then) will know all the facts about drugs you are consuming. i'm not making any other claim then that i believe drug abuse, and the consequences of drug abuse fall entirely on the user. no one else. the chick was obviously extremely dense on the subject of drug ingestation as was mile's impaired veiws of trying to catch rides on large moving vehicles. does it mean i'll stop eating shrooms or doin e?no. does it mean myles will give em up? probably not. myles, through your actions you have added to the respect for controlled substances. plur....i said PLUR damnit
